Wow, I've been listening to this soundtrack for what feels like forever. This song fits one of the scenes in my novel perfectly!! It is a dark, quiet night and among a silent forest, families lie sleeping until they are suddenly disturbed and taken away, snatched right out of their homes, and this song truly has that suspensful, creepy feeling to it!! God bless Harry Gregson Williams for imagining these tracks. Truly brilliant.
I don't normally choke up at movies, but even I found myself choking up at this scene, it was a very emotional scene and it was done beautifully. I could feel the emotion from the actors from it, the hatred and the sadness pouring from both sides. Very few movies do that, and it takes a lot for me to feel what the actors are feeling, even in the most sappiest of love stories I don't feel what they're feeling, this was truly brilliant.
Instead of picking parts of the song, I'd like to say I love every note of this song from beginning to end. Actually, I love every song from the Chronicles of Narnia, 1st and 2nd.
1:30 to 1:45 gives me chills. When I hear the brass kick in I immediately think of Jesus bearing the cross as he looks toward Golgotha. The most noble and heroic thing anyone has ever done, past, present and future.
see how powerful music is? This shows why it is so important to really pay close attention to the words when we select music to listen to...what could a person with ill intentions be willing to do? The brain can not tell if something is real or dreamed unless you consciously tell it differently...just something to think about. :o)
One of the most powerful Songs i've ever heard before. Its so sad in the beginning and at the end. The middle of these song is my favorit part. Shivers run down my spine whenever i hear it. But the scene in the movie was so mean and sad, i cried so much when i saw it for the first time of my live. Poor Aslan... Great Move and great soundtrack^^ and i hope this is right. Greetings from germany :D
Love Narnia. In my head and heart and dreams Narnia is and will be forever real. How many books are there to make a movie about it? WE HAVE TO WRITE SOME HUNDRED ONES! QUICKLY!!!! Even if the stars of the movie are adult!
Love and kindness is all that is needed to create peace in this world and peace in oneself... but I think arguing about religion creates hate and anger and defeats it's purpose. Love and accept everyone for what they are and what they believe and I think that is the way to true happiness :) ♥ Love and peace ♥
One can become smarter by taking part in discussions. Discussions allows you to look on a problem from different views. No matter if it's youtube or real life.
He didn't pop out of nowhere, He's always been here, it's just that we have to ask Him how when we die (that is, if you're going to His place and not...) because our minds on this earth obviously wouldn't be able to understand because we still know so little of how things work.
He was probably 30-33 years old. Golgotha (Calvary) is where He died outside Jerusalem’s walls on a cross (crucifixion) on a hill with two criminals also on crosses next to Him. But that's not where the story ends :) You could look online for more information about His life and what happened to Him after He died if you want.
This was really hard to watch.. I remember reading it in the book and being sad but the movie really kicks that up a notch.. I hate the bit where she screams "Shave him!" Something about that makes me feel horrible inside..
And a person can no more diminish the sun than to make god exist. When every argument for the existence of god can be used against the existence of such a being, you know somethings wrong.
Just because something is a "theory" doesn't mean it isn't credible. It means that there is currently nothing to disprove it. I'll going to remind you that gravity is also the "Theory of Gravity." You wanna dispute that one too?
i dont know why, but seeing scenes of jesus being sacrificed never really hit the tears until i saw THIS scene. and i always got frustrated because i thought; "WHY DIDN'T SHE USE HER ARROWS AND KILL THE WHITE BIT-...witch...?!"
Intelligent life can not appear accidentaly. However, the evolution isn't accidental process. The moment evolution appeared on our planet, there was no longer accidents. Intelligence in process of evolution is just matter of time.
My Hero has risen from the Dead! The Spirit of Death can not hold my Daddy! Jesus is coming again sound the Alarm! Gather the people! Gather the Elders! For the Day of the Lord is Great and Terrible!
What's with all the religious debate? We all know why CS Lewis wrote his books, and what they were about, regardless of belief. Anyone notice that this is a video of a soundtrack? How about instead of debating the truth of religion (which, by the way, you can't do. You can't change someone's beliefs. Deal with it science people and god people), why don't you all STFU and enjoy the damn music. Let's all give a moment of thanks to Harry Gregson-Williams who wrote this fantastic piece of music.
I said that they can't be fully proven, which infers that they can't be proven to be true or false respectively. Nevertheless, I'm tired, I have an AP Biology exam in 4 days and I haven't the time for silly debates such as this one.
ex. the universe is to complex to have just popped out on its own, well, by that logic, something that can create and monitor the universe (your god) is likely even more complex than the universe, and is therefore even less likely to have popped out of nowhere on its own
The reason I can type and post this is because I am a complex human being. We are so complex, in fact, there is hardly any chance at all that we could have been made and "evolved" (pick whichever of the six definitions you want) from a completely accidental explosion of nothing. Intelligent life by intelligent design.
