@@Elmirgtr I can sympathize with their feelings, but I don't think Levy's effort as a content creator should be understated. He's played an invaluable role in spreading the name of chess and thus increasing their prospects of sponsorship and patronage in the future. Buut I have to admit that if I was in the shoes the majority of these GMs who simply cannot financially depend on professional chess, I'd find it difficult to see it that way as well.
Yeah, Ian doesn’t seem to understand caricatures - the impressions are not all meant to be 100 percent accurate. Some of them emphasize the “character’s” eccentricities to maximize the humor. And he keeps comparing his impressions (even though they are awkward and mechanical) with Daniel’s, making for a less than enjoyable dynamic. He comes off as insecure with his lack of charisma, when he could have merely enjoyed/ humorously observed the impressions to create a more comfortable streaming atmosphere.
