Exactly, I always say that we cant really comprehend how insane these players are since most of us would get destroyed by 2000 players. I think the better you are the more you understand how good top players are, like Danya is absolutely insane and Magnus and Hikaru eat him for lunch.
@@TheDestroyer7102 seems like a lot of people forget about the titel, even if i personally don't care - it helps to show, what a chess player has to do, do became a master and that's insane imho.
You would think that taking on f6 straight away in the opening or a2-a4 instead of the piece sac should be very good for white. In the game white was a bit fortunate to have the Nc7 fork just in time. After this, white should be winning, but he made a lot of questionable decisions in the endgame. He of course should have played c2-c3 somewhere to at least try to exchange black's queenside pawns.
Not the fastest though. Penguin and alireza or even hikaru is probably faster, but it's the speed with the accuracy, that combination is a nightmare for everyone.
I saw him give an interview where he said he knows most people he plays are scared of him so he can play moves that are dubious and still probably win. So yeah he does.
He can't push his pawns now bcz magnus can just recapture and his king will be open..and he has 2 knights which would jump around the board and .. he'll eventually lose
It stops white from playing b4 himself to get at black's queenside pawns. Black's ...b4 move is what won the game. White had no counter play from there.
There's a lot of player who are as fast as Magnus or faster than him in the endgame... But it's the Stockfish like accuracy that makes his attack more lethal and cruel.
I think GM’s like Daniel would fair better against Magnus if they didn’t know who they were playing. If they only knew it was another GM they were playing. Psychology plays more of a role than we think. It forces them to blunder more when they’ve already subconsciously accepted defeat.
Magnus has played against gm’s with Smurf accounts and still dominated. It’s not the knowing who it is. It’s the way he picks at you piece by piece leaving you guessing what is he thinking.
The thing is when magnus plays a match like this, his opponent thinks so much of it, they play like it’s a championship or something just because it’s magnus. Yes it’s high level chess so everyone is trying hard, but most people would lock in and get super serious against magnus. So magnus is always playing against top tier play from his opponents, he must get burnt out from it eventually.
But ironically Magnus rarely gets the best performance out of his opponents because they overthink for the exact reason you said. So them taking it as life or death works against them, to him it's just another game. Magnus himself has said this, that one of the most crucial things he realized is to punish his opponents fear. This is like the Michael Jordan effect, who was so dominant not just because of his own greatness, but also because of his opponent's fear and the psychological edge he had over them which caused them to be less efficient against him
This is why I don’t gamble on horses! Especially 2 of them..in the long run they will cost you $$$$ and games…that’s why my father always killed the horses as he said to me “they cost him too much money” in his lifetime as Magnus demonstrates how tricks horses can be!
A good example of these chess players who are very blind, so they start like "Hikaru's ego" like premoving and trash talking, then they are humbled, bad is they do not learn the lessons. Magnus is 1 of very few persons on this generation who learned the objetive of chess and live the life, the rest like this dude "ice chess" is lost, in chess and in life.
lol he looked so confident after he played knight e6 too 😂, that one hurts. Even I thought Magnus blundered the exchange but that’s why he’s the world’s best and I’m not lol
I can't stand mag. Why do you guys always give this man wins? There's absolutely no way you would have lost a game being up 4 pawns and the exchange. Please stop giving this guy wins!!! Damn
Every single one of Daniel’s videos I’ve watched he says, “I should never have lost that”. Is that a coincidence or does he literally say that every time he losses? It makes him sound super weak.
Carlsen sucked that game, he is boring and doesnt have balls to attack. Just boring like capablanca not interesting NOOOT!! Kasparov, tal, morphy, ding true kings.
everyone playing magnus is psyching themselves out. They'll throw any winning position they have because in their own head they just can't believe that they have a winning position. If Daniel had played this liek any of his other games he would have comfortably converted that winning position
