So no one noticed the perfectly chosen name of Solomon... Solomon, the King of Israel. Was a fantastic Judge. With his wisdom he was able to pose a solution to two women arguing about whom the baby was born to. His solution was to cut the baby in two, and give each woman half. Only the true mother showed fear for the baby's life and begged the king to not and give the baby to the other woman. Of which King Solomon decreed the baby to be this woman's child. Solomon. A name connected with Wisdom, and Judgement.

The protagonist being named Solomon is just the cherry on top since Solomon considered a wise king in most accounts of the abrahamic religions. When you think about, he didn't use brain nor brawn to defeat all three of the supposed heroes. He used their arrogance, greed, and pride against them to turn the people on them. He performed one miracle, but that was only proof of his wisdom.

Oh yeah, one of my favorite green text stories! Everyone loves hearing about That Guy getting his come'up'ins, but for me this is one of the best ones. The amount of forethought and planning that Solomon's player would have had to put into all of this is admirable. I know that old green text stories should be taken with a grain of salt, but part of me likes to believe that this one truly happened, especially since I've never heard of anyone trying to refute it.

Reminds me a bit of Eve Forward's "Villains By Necessity" where, after the War of Good Versus Evil, Heroes had closed this portal that let Evil flow into the world. Problem is, unknown to the forces of Good, Evil is needed for the world to survive, and the world is unknowingly put into jeopardy. A hundred years later, a leftover group of villains finds out that the world will be destroyed unless the forces of Evil are released back into the world, and thus set off to save the world. Along the way, it's revealed that the Villains are, mostly, decent enough people, with even the most Evil member of the group having once had a family, which had been murdered just because they were of a species that was usually Evil. As for the Forces of Good, they aren't so nice, with more than a few not taking "No" for an answer, especially the woodland prince whenever he has the Villains lovely female druid in his clutches..... And it's revealed that the Big Good Guy (an elven wizard who was one of the Original Heroes), had committed an act that really upsets the main Bad Guy (an assassin with an uncanny ability to throw daggers and other objects accurately at great distances) to the point that he's able to use a Holy sword to kill him.

Not every time, but there’s always the aspects of doing bad things for the sake of doing the greater good. The heroes can always turn on their morals, hence the saying you either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain. There’s a million and one ways that twist the perspective but it’s always the perspective that matters. Olympian, even though he ended up being the villain in this story, believed (and even said so via his player) that he was the hero. While most (myself included) would agree his actions were truly barbaric, it ultimately matters to what sort of lesson one wishes to teach with the tale. After all, most of everyone in a story often have a point in what they do.
