This unconventional 4 bedroom house design makes the most of a narrow plot with a split building design divided into 2 seperate blocks.
The first block "block A" contains the main living areas:
- Livingroom
- Office (That can be used as a fourth bedroom)
- 2 Bedrooms uptairs (1 ensuite)
- 1 Shared bathroom upstairs
The second block "Block B" contains:
- The kitchen & Dining room
- Pantry
- Main bedroom upstairs (ensuite)
This design is perfect for phased construction as you can start with 1 block then build the next when possible making for an affordable house design.
The humble concrete and wood finished added to the tropical courtyard with the pool make for a serene hideout and retreat.
DISCLAIMER: This is mererly a concept design. If you would like to build this design please make sure to work with an architect and structural engineer to make sure that it conforms to the building standards and codes of your region.
This is not a container house or a prefab house.

Honestly, this is basically my dream house now. I'm in a cold climate, so I'd just stick on a glass greenhouse roof over the courtyard to keep it warmer in the winter. Love the privacy and the unique incorporation of a mini courtyard in it.

As someone who likes privacy, particularly outdoor privacy this would be PERFECT for me! It would only work in a warm climate, but I want to live in a warm climate anyway.

Absolutely gorgeous. My overwhelming reaction to this was, "Oh wow, OH wow, OH WOW!" If I were to turn it into a real house, though, I feel it would require two separate water heaters, otherwise someone's going to be waiting a long long time for their water to get hot. A laundry room would be nice, as well, unless you like lugging your dirty clothes down to a laundromat. I feel that I would also eschew that rear atrium in favour of making the master suite larger and giving a place for the laundry area and rear water heater, downstairs. I would also like an awning over the stairs and walkway to the kitchen so I wouldn't have to walk through the rain to get to bed or to get to the kitchen. Mini-split AC/Heaters would be perfect for this house, though it might be annoying having to bundle up to get from the front of the house to the rear and vice versa in winter time. I love it, though.

This house is fantastic. However, I would not have the courtyard open space and would rather add that extra space onto the house. I dont usually care for patios, courtyards, or balconies because that extra space could be added onto the house. Thanks for upload!

You have talent!! I like your designs! Unfortunately not all of your designs are applicable in colder/snowy northern european regions. Would be nice to see some energy efficient and practical designs (walking in snow is not practical), but with your same design philosophy/spirit!
