it was so nice to meet you both on friday the preview day and have a chat, we had a great day out and have seen a few boats that we like and now we are going to decide which company is going to build our new electric hybrid boat. please tell EL CAPITAN that i want to see those fish that he caught but could not find on his phone (lol). hope to meet you someday on the cut in our boat, all the best phil & sue.

Hi Terry, we don’t have funnel cakes here, in fact, I had to look them up lol, they sound like they would taste like our sugar coated ring doughnuts that we often get at fairs, shows and beaches, the6 did have some there, but we didn’t try any! We love the Crick boat show, thanks Terry! xx
Nice vlog.... It'll certainly be better than mine. I was too busy getting drunk (hence the large glass of red wine you captured me with on this vlog in the beer tent! ) Mine is going to be more about the journey there and the B&B we stayed in!! I hardly filmed at the show!! I blame the wife!

Were back on the Llangollen moored at bridge 1w😂 still makes me chuckle. They are opening the renovated section of the Montgomery camal tomorrow so we are taking our boat down ti cruise it
Great video guys showing life on the canals , I,m thinking of doing this in a few years, I'm not retiring, just looking for a new life, after a bit of help and advice from you guys on the canals, would a travelling mechanic/ generalised boat engineer be of interest of you for servicing and general repairs and maintenance? Loving keeping up with your channel 👍👍👍☕️
Hi Nigel, thank you for your lovely comment xx A travelling mechanic and boat engineer will work great. There are a couple we have seen on our travels and they always seem busy (there’s always something that needs doing on a boat 🫣) and with the boating community, word travels fast, so if you do a good job for someone, word soon gets around, so no need for advertising, just a few business cards to hand out. There may be 2000 miles of canals and rivers, but you’ll be surprised at how small the community is. Martin does our servicing and tries to do most repairs himself, but sometimes you need a qualified engineer, so we would definitely keep you in mind. One thing you will need though is a traders licence, rather than the usual cruising licence, but think you’ll do great 👍 Hope this helps! Thanks again! xx

There is no doubt at all that Morning Star is a stunning boat but I think the hidden bedroom in the winning boat won the day and pulled on the heart strings of all the Grandma and Granddad voters because it was labeled as a Grand Kids hidden bedroom.
Yes, we heard that, but if that was the case, why was it a king size bed, surely it would have been single beds? Don’t get me wrong, it was beautifully crafted and a lovely boat, I just couldn’t see it being practical, making the bed for example lol. Tbh all the new boats were stunning in their own way, it was difficult to pick a winner. Thank you so much for watching and commenting, we really appreciate it xx
