A narrowboat goes out of control and crashes on the Grand Union Canal. The poor boater got caught after passing us and lost control of his boat.
We leave Milton Keynes and visit the Wolverton Railway Works where the Royal Train lives.
We cross the Wolverton Iron Aqueduct and take a look at the disused locks down to the Great Ouse River before heading to Stoke Bruerne.

There's no need to worry about giving an unexpected wave. My old Dad only had one eye and other chaps would mistake his closed non eye for a deliberate wink. Back before our currently (slightly) enlightened personal freedoms, Dad would get lots of unexpected winks. He quite liked the attention. Maybe the fishermen like the attention too. I often answer people in the street only to discover they're talking on the phone.

You misseed a trick there Collin, 3 Miles outside Milton Keynes probably the most interesting and important 2 places in the country, Bletchley Park, home of Alan Turing who cracked the Enigma code and shaved 2 years off the second world war, and invented the computer, and next door The National Computer Museum , both a must see, anyway you had better get a move on as Buggy Basin closes next week I am told, and The Peak Forest Canal is waiting LoL....

Here is a bit of unasked for information. I was on the Grand Union 10 years ago and met a man who had studied the aquadynamics of boats. He said that in days gone by narrow boats approaching each other would keep to the centre of the the canal and flick to starboard at the last moment. He reckons passing boats can't crash because their opposing wash keeps them apart. Overtaking boats are more likely to touch because they attract each other. Sean's strategy seems to work because the physics says it must.

Thanks guys for another fantastic vlog, I think "JIMSONWEED" was the reason why Jim ended up in the weeds but I don't know why Colin stated "another fifty feet there are Moats Boored Up There", lol. I just love watching you guys and Otis. I'll also say PLEASE NEVER CHANGE!!! Although I know you won't just wanted to say I love you just the way you are! Questions: Do people not wave when you pass them, I never see anyone wave or be nice. 2. Do you ever fish from the boat? If yes what kind of fish are the best to catch/eat from the canals? Last Colin I also lick the good stuff of my Doritos but I'm a lesbian so I tend to lick everything at least once lol. Cheers mates can't wait for the next video.
