9:26 The Vanishing Rasengan, a rasengan containing lightning chakra, it's basically the Jutsu Kakashi was never able to create. As a child Kakashi's was trying to find a way to add his lightning style to the regular Rasengan, but when he tried doing it he failed, but when he failed he accidentally created the Chidori.

I'm sure a lot of people don't realize until they rewatch the fight like 20 times, but I'm pretty sure Sasuke caught and spun the sword on his foot, then kicked it at Momoshiki, and then right before impact he used Amenotejikara (his rinnegan ability) to switch places with the sword and dropkick Momoshiki. That shit was too clean 🔥
I don't think he was kicking it. Here is another detail, not sure if you noticed, when he caught it, there was a Chakra sound effect. That means he was using chakra to 'grab' it, just like how they use chakra on their feet to walk on walls or water. So it's more like he was throwing the sword instead of kicking.
That’s not what happened. He literally just ran and kicked him. Switching places with the sword wouldn’t do anything since Momoshiki literally repelled it and sent it flying
@@zitaoqiu You are exactly correct. It's a throwback to a move he did during the Chunin Exams I believe, where he used his chakra to catch a kunai with the bottom of his foot and then kick it back at an enemy.

This why you always trust Sasuke lmao Also the Mitsuki disappearance arc up next (71-92) is pretty good but I think you would want to go straight to episode 148 for the Mujina Bandits Arc. Note 141-147 is like a prelude to the arc and is kinda relevant but not really. Not in the manga so you can skip that if you want. Skip 106-111, it's not labeled as filler cause it's based on a novel, but it's completely unrelated to the story.
Keep in mind 93-95 is a novel adaptation, it flesshes out some of the relationships the adults have with their kids. Episodes 106- 111 is steamed ninja scrolls. It's a novel adaptation that was adapted into a manga, but it has nothing to do with Boruto. It focuses on Asuma's daughter but your free to skip it if you want.
Honestly, boruto realistically wasn't needed past that first rasengan. Naruto should be a master of all chakra natures as of the great ninja war so this is how it realistically should have gone imo Sasuke: he combined his rasengan with lightning style to make a vanishing rasengan. Naruto: with lightning style, huh? I wonder... Naruto makes his own more powerful vanishing rasengan in half a second at most Naruto: awesome. You did amazing, Boruto. @xman t What series have you been watching? Fusing a element with a Rasengan doesn't always make the same jutsu. Konihamaru made a wind infused rasengan, nothing like the Rasenshuriken. Boruto created a wins style rasengan, nothing like a Rasenshuriken nor Konohamarus wind infused rasengan. Naruto adding lightning to the rasengan will not make a Vanishing rasengan, he would just make a lightning rasenshuriken at best like he makes with all his rasengans. Boruto changes the very nature of the jutsu using lightning style, the very same principal Naruto used to make the rasenShuriken instead of just a wind style rasengan and even that took a long time and many clones to do. Now you think Naruto can just randomly in a second use the right chakr form change when he has shown no affinity for using Vanishing attacks nor shown the ability to figure it out without clones and weeks of practice? Lmao

No that wasnt't the 8 Tails. Inukai Takeru No Mikoto is an earth ability that allows Momoshiki to make avatars from the the earth. They are meant to resemble canine or dog heads.
From this point onward, idk if they're gonna want you to watch the hidden stone arc (pretty good imho) or time slip arc or whatever it's called (just OK, some good stuff) Aside from that the 141-147 is a good anime setup into the first manga arc, I would watch all those.. Then 157-175 is a REALLY good anime canon arc. After that you can almost entirely stick to what's manga canon. The only anime canon thing I would add at that point is the Chunin Exam Redo of 221-226. It's quick and easy with some good fights/animation. Not too bad on the non-manga material when you filter it
Sasuke definitely saw the interaction between Boruto & Momoshiki in the alternate dimension with his Mangekyo & Rinnegan. Question is, how much did he hear from that conversation???

I also exclude some episodes in my anime episodes list because there are really just some episodes that are useless or postponing the continuity of the overall story in the anime let's be honest.
You can read the manga from Chapter 1 to Chapter 10. The studio made the presentation of the first arc long and merged the fillers with the manga, and it became difficult to enter the anime. But after this arc, the fillers are still linked to the manga but not merged. I don't know if my explanation is good, but yaah
ik you dont have time for anime canon but you NEED to watch the best Anime arc called Deepa Arc/ Kara actuation arc (157 to 175) It's a shame that other anime canon arcs arent this good
Watching 93-95 is so worth it, but if you're aiming for strictly manga content, jump ahead to 148-151. After that, I highly recommend watching the 157-180 anime cannon arc as it directly ties into the following manga cannon episodes really nicely. It gives more context, more background and is arguably the best anime cannon arc. If you don't watch any other anime cannon, that would be the arc you shouldn't skip! ✨✨✨
You got to always remember that Sasuke never makes a ill-informed decision, everything Sasuke does is always thought out far ahead of the situation and even if it's a situation that pops up out of the blue, he makes well-informed calculated moves.. If Boruto was going to be absolutely useless Sasuke would have never let him come. So cool of you to be enjoying the series so far and really wish you would continue watching.... Apparently in the novels Naruto was supposed to finish Momoshiki, but let Boruto do it like we see in the anime so that he gets the experience of defeating a strong opponent with a powerful jutsu, which will give him more confidence in the future. Also, about Naruto being a "deadbeat dad", he was always with his kids up until he became hokage, so when Boruto was about 6 or 7, so it's not like he was never there, just less. How do you think he learned shadow clone jutsu? Naruto taught him. The paperwork he does is probably peoples queries, and considering Naruto's personality, he probably wants to deal with everyones problems himself instead of passing off work to others. However, it doesn't justify why he's not with his family more, but it does explain why. Hope this helps somehow.

The anime and novels confirmed Naruto did not teach Boruto shadow clones, just like his lightning, water and wind style he developed them on his own by seeing others use it. The anime confirms it in the academy graduation arc in the Boruto vs Kakashi fight where Kakashi asks if Naruto taught it to him and he said "you think I'd ask him to teach me anything?!" The novels again confirmed it in Boruto novel 3. Naruto did not teach Boruto shadow clones at all.
@@stevenviljoen160 then that's my mistake. And since you know more than me, he may or may not have trained with Naruto. But I am confident that he and Himawari have been trained by the Hyugas, and it was also teased in one of the openings. It's also pretty obvious with how Boruto fights with his hands sometimes
@@skelerew6235 yes his taijutsu is 100% because of the Hyuuga and Hinata specifically. This was confirmed in the Parent-child day novel in Hinata, Hanabi and Hiashis day which for some reason wasn't animated like Naruto and Sasukes where. Hinata has been training Hima and Boruto in Taijutsu since they where preteens, no jutsu for Boruto since he doesn't have the Byakugan but she did train him in Hyuuga gentle fist for years. Don't know why they animated a Choji day and not Hinatas, there was so many important info in that day like the fact Hinata is concerned because Boruto uses his ninja salary to buy his own underwear. Hinata was concerned because he buys Florecent pink underwear for himself and acording to her "when I look into his room at night his behind glows in the dark." Hanabi approves and says he has good taste.
We all thought the same thing when we first watched the first 65 episodes of Boruto, thinking he wasn't the shit. But looking at how much he's grown since then, he becomes THAT GUY. Tromendous character development from him.
you need to watch next episode as well (ep66) before jump up to another cannon episode. because in the episode 66 boruto apologize to everyone specially shikadai. you can see boruto grow up littlebit in ep 66, and become a real ninja.
He will never see the other well animated fights bc he’s skipping everything that isn’t manga adapted. And he will remain confused about things. I so the animation will always look like sht to him. Which is stupid bc why doesn’t the manga arcs have consistently good art and animation but some anime only arcs look better? Only think good about manga arcs are the animation of the major battles. The Isshiki arc was a wreck
Would you believe me that there are 3 - 4 more fights just as crazy as 64-65 in the whole of boruto.. Just sad that there are like 60% of filler and a bunch of anime only canon.... The blue eye is called Jogan, Pure eye. We dont know what abilities it will have in future. But it seems related to Byakugan.
I haven't watched the anime apart from the first few episodes (which had convinced me at the time that this anime would be trash), episode 61, and this episode. Apart from that I've only seen clips of himawari being the best and kawaki doing stuff. Since it seems like you've seen the anime, could you answer this for me? Is the jougan the result of naruto's hagoromo chakra(received from hagoromo himself) and hinata's hamura chakra (received from the people on the moon) mixing together in their kid? That's my understanding since momoshiki states boruto has strongly inherited otsutsuki chakra
Guys, we agree the Boruto part that happens to counter Momoshiki is bullshit. it is unrealistic that a genin-chunin can even follow the movements of a Kage, we are talking about a super kage here. Even if boruto manages to see the adverce movements thanks to the Jogan, it is impossible for his body to follow. The vanishing rasengan remains a technique with chakra, Momoshiki having the Byakugan can detect it, another Boullshit... And the final part rasengan VS rasengan too, momoshiki can absorb the techniques of both hands, even if it's not the case it's not a kunai that will stop him, the hand healed in 3 seconds. all that to say that as the manga is called Boruto, they brought back a Bullshit scenario to make Boruto useful...
To me its the best one,the story board,animation,visuals,osts AND the small references made me so emotional that i have to top this fight above any other naruto fight
@@darling.............. Aesthetically, it hands down is the best fight but I still think the best fight is Naruto vs Pain cause of the impact that fight had on the story, and it being the moment Naruto was accepted and hailed as a hero of the leaf.

idk if you will read this comment but if you do i highly recommend that from now on you will only watch the manga canon episodes. sure you can watch every episode but every one apart from the manga canon does not matter for the story. so if you feel like dropping boruto just remember that you should just skip all the filler and anime canon and go straight to the manga canon ones such as this episode.

Yeah I saw that block and tbh, the block that Momoshiki did (2:00) when the Tsuchikage tried to punch with her rock fist did not make any sense to me. When you consider the trajectory, the angle from which her punch was coming from and how Momoshiki blocked it, her punch should have kept going to the side of his face and you can see from the actual close up that her fist was inside his blocking hand thus already bypassing it (2:01). 🤔🤔🤔

@@stevenviljoen160 my nephew challenged me once I had a perfect on him threw vanishing rasengan and ran past it letting him hit me into my attack and got the KO while his punch was hitting my guys face, the rage he had was glorious because he didn't notice it and was like "how I was in the middle of punching you". I died laughing cause I thought about it and was like lemme try this real quick 😂 🤣
@Dominik Laurent nah I spam that move constantly so sometimes even I forget about it since it's something I'm doing via muscle memory, then it feels so elating when you just get that hit lol. My brother started making rules of barring Boruto from my teams or he refused to play me since I just spammed the ever living hell out of it, it was just such a fun move and it's a war crime that storm 4 Boruto doesn't have a proper Vanishing rasengan.
Imagine how much stronger outsotsuki can be with they had a grasp pn how jutsu worked cause every one we've seen has only used a kekegenkai even the dimension hopping with the amount of chakra they have it would be crazy also if all of them have byakugan i find it strange that the sharingan is a foreign concept to them
The Sharigan is a Mutation, it's not a natural form of Otsutsuki eyes. Hagaromo was the first to get it and it might very well be because he was half human causing a Mutation in the eyes just like the Tenseigan with Hagaromo. Think of dogs compared to wolves, all dogs come from wolves but they where changed through breeding to become something completely different, same with the Sharigan, it was created because of Hagaromo being a halfbreed.
This fight for the most part is amazing, but the episode also shows why so many regard the Anime as bad. Scientist literally shows up out of nowhere apparently having snuck in when we saw in previous episode there was literally no way they could.....was just a way they tried changing the guard which failed and just is a glaring issue
