Naruto Hyperventilating, Panic Attack as a Child and Adult 

This is one of the most humanizing things about Naruto (the boy and the franchise) He cares so much about his loved ones and the responsibility for the greater good is constantly on him. Both cases are realistic responses, I love it

The adult one is worse because he's trying to hold it in to worry Boruto

Not taking anything away from the first one, but the 2nd one was more painful to watch because he thought that he might have had to kill his own son to protect Konoha and the shinobi world as there was no other way to prevent Momoshiki's resurrection. Even though Sasuke promised to carry that burden for him and kill Boruto himself as he is his Master and promised Boruto that he would kill him if Momoshiki ever took over. The thought of your own son being killed by you, or another is traumatizingly painful. Can only imagine his fear at the prospect of that.

Tbf i don't feel sorry for Naruto. Him hyperventilating was the ultimate proof he was mentally ill and wasn't wanting to accept the harsh reality. It literally took Naruto finally getting his way regarding Sasuke to finally catch a break and mature, but damn, that kid was in absolute need of meds before the epilogue. Emotionally unhinged, tunnel vissioned, and in absolute denial of reality at times. From all the cast, Naruto was the only one that took the most time to finally act his age.
