To be real, naruto could at any time just ask Kurama to introduce himself to boruto and the others, or just go out in the forrest and transform, show him what the history books tales are all about🤷🏼♂️
Naruto never had to go all out for years. He’s only been stuck doing paperwork most of the time. Sarada and Cho-Cho were pretty much the only ones who got to see Naruto get serious in years.

Naruto isn't a really good dad...because he never knew what a real dad feels like...he had great substitutes in Iruka and Jiraiya (and even Kakashi from time to time) but he never had a real dad. 😢 No Don you are not the only one; I tear up at that scene every time.

Honestly such a stupid take because by the laws of their universe Boruto and Sarada are recognized ninja who are appointed to go on dangerous missions so by that logic they're always in danger anyway. This dude's just trolling if he thought we'd get a scene of Naruto and Sasuke walking their kids to safety.
All of them send their kids out on missions where the outcome is unpredictable. Don't be criticizing their parenting when it was the exact same in their era then by that logic all of the adults are bad parents. Naruto's a workaholic who doesn't divide his schedule properly but far from a bad parent at all. The village is a super city now so there's more to handle than in the past, Naruto's got the responsibility of an entire nation so he can't half ass his job.

in a video seththeprogrammer made a year back i think, he really had a nice way of putting this momoshiki arc very well. It was like a way to teach the new only boruto fans who naruto was and also a way to show the hard core naruto fans what boruto will be. that Boruto even with its flaws can become something naruto fans can love too and to show what naruto the anime was to the new boruto viewers and making them want to know about it. and it is kind of true that boruto is a bit more relaxed in most episodes in a way like early fairytail but I think its pretty similar to naruto as well. I think people forget that naruto in its early days wasnt just the land of wave, chunnin exam and sasuke retrieval arc, there were so many episodes and missions in between.
So legit if they actually slapped their nuts up on the table and did in Naruto right at this moment I genuinely believe Boruto would have been whole different, far superior show to the actual one we have now. This moment had it all. Would have been the perfect turning point for the whole project. Sucks there wasn't followthrough.

The thing is, this was in the first 10 chapters of the manga. I'm pretty sure they wanted to give more spotlight to Naruto and Sasuke before throwing in the towel and passing it on to the next generation, hence the Momoshiki, Jigen and Isshiki fights. It would also mean Kawaki would be a completely different character since Naruto was basically the sole reason for Kawaki being the way he is now (along with Isshiki's trauma). I feel like it was just too early and might have even been disappointing because Naruto's relationship with Boruto would never have been mended
Naruto produced mutliple shadow clones more then 6 while using sage mode and kurama at the same time rememebr at the fight with pain he had i guess 2 or 3 shadow clones in the back and i guess 2 he could use in fight Naruto is a beast in chakra control at this point. Unfortunely that dosnt matter anymore in boruto. I THink thats stuff we should talk about. For real, I mean if you take the shinobi stuff out of it Naruto's a pretty typical by the numbers hard working dad who may have a hard time freeing up his schedule especially with his exhaustion but it certainly doesn't make him horrible he clearly made mistakes and his children have already forgiven him.
I agree that they should have gotten the kids out first, and in fact Naruto DID say to Boruto to go with everyone else and evacuate, but of course Boruto being Boruto he did not listen. I also find it funny that Momo made a subtle remark about the kids being there, as though he also thought they shouldn't be there. Btw, Momoshiki at this point was meant to be like a reflection of Boruto in a way. Boruto had been relying on this scientific ninja tool, a tool for cheating instead of doing proper hard work and training. Momoshiki relies on the chakra pills he creates, he does not believe in hard work or training, in fact he thinks it's a waste of time.

While we all know naruto as this amazing shinobi who worked his ass off, at this point in the story all boruto had seen of naruto was a goof ball / workaholic who was never home. It’s the main reason he’s so immature and bratty in the early part of the anime.
I feel like something naruto could’ve done differently as a father and as the hokage was to spend time with his family and have a clone do his work here and there. Similar to himiwari’s bday but have swap places with the clone. That way he could have been there for his family more.
This is Borutos wakeup call where he starts to see his dad whit more mature eyes, and not just a hokage sitting on his ass akting bossy. And yes Borito have never seen his Dad in proper action , it has been a time of peace since Boruto was born. You will like next two eps. Also i really like Momoshikis character, his VA and he is such an rasist., talk about looking down on the human rase as vulgar creatures.

!000% correct. The white zetsus would have gotten absolutely bodied and Kaguya of all people would know that. This is what happens when you try to add pieces to a story to try to extend it and add new plot twists that don't realistically mesh with what was stated before. Now Boruto has to try to build on the story of Kaguya which has somethings which makes little to no sense.
It only makes no sense to you now because you can see how powerful they are now, but before we had no idea what the Ootsutsuki would be. It's also hard to tell what the outcome would've been with the Zetsus because they were very versitile, abosorbing chakra, they would combine to make more powerful creatures, other stuff maybe. And of course Kaguya would have been a lot more powerful once she was able to absorb all the chakra back.
You can literally always check out the Narutopedia Wiki or pay attention or actually watch the show if you don't understand lol. You can connect the dots as to why Kaguya did what she did pretty easily. I guess you wanted Kaguya to just roll over and give up? She knows she couldn't stand a chance so she tried to make an army and also tried to regain the chakra and life energy from the planet and her sons to form a stronger chakra to make her increasingly omnipotent. Remember she didn't even take all the nature energy from the planet only a little bit because she allegedly grew to love it. Plus Earth's energy is special because of the life forms on it. Dude hating on plot holes from shippuden that have been or have begun to be explained in boruto. Imagine a story where everything is revealed in the first episode or chapter.
I mean the whole show is about bad parenting and child labor. No real parent would agree to their minor children going on a mission and potentially dying.
