Kushina dedicated EVERYTHING for Naruto, and still her last words to him were "Thank you" 💔

Kushina is an Uzumaki. They have an unnaturally strong life force. This allows them to heal quicker and have longer lifespans than normal people. This is why they sealed the Ninetails in an Uzumaki. That's also why Kushina was able to do what she did despite the ninetails being taken out. She would have died anyway, just not immediately like Gaara.

Sad Fact: In the manga Kushina couldn't reach to hug Naruto, she vanishes before doing it

Naruto is the only anime that ends up making me cry, even after seeing the scenes multiple times.

Supposedly it was Danzo that revealed the classified information that Naruto was the 9-Tails jinchuriki so that the Village ridiculed him. Once again, thank you Danzo

Kishimoto is really good at the art of keeping key parts of the lore vague enough when introduced so that he can add stuff and connect events that he'd come up with later and not feel like retcons and look like he planned it all from the start, not 100% success, but works well enough.

According to Itachi's novel, The reason why people in the village knew Naruto was the Jinchuriki was because Danzo spread the information, and considering the possbility of blaming the Uchiha clan. The novel has this passage: “Lord Danzo did one thing. He simply made it known that the Nine Tails that plunged the village into terror was housed in the body of that child. The people of the village then made their own judgments, and decided on their own to discriminate against Naruto. With this terrifying child as their just cause, they shifted responsibility to someone else, and now the people turn a cold shoulder to Naruto. And by looking down on the poor child, they maintain their emotional equilibrium. Your clan fulfills a similar role to Naruto. Isn’t that so?”

Yep, Naruto knows exactly how to hit you in the feels. When it gets emotional, you just have to appreciate how good the story is to make you feel that way 👌

The only thing i will never forgive that character, robbing Naruto of a cool dad and a kind and loving mother...Nothing is more powerful than a mother's love i guess ! Too bad Minato didn't have enough chakra left to have more time with Naruto. That ending still hit me like a truck even now...

This episode really tugs at your heartstrings. There was a scene in the third Ultimate Ninja Storm game where Kushina struggles to comfort a crying baby Naruto with a children's toy, right after having the Nine-Tails ripped out from her. It was pure depression just by how heartwarming it was. 😢

I have seen this episode so many times in both sub and dub, but whenever I watch it in dub, I get a bit teary every time. Kushina's eng VA "Laura Bailey" is phenomenal.

Baffling that Kurama has been only a "Half" of himself.

One thing I've never seen anyone else talk about is Naruto's expression when his mum hugs him. He finally experiences what he'd always craved for - a mother's embrace full of love. His expression to me must have instinctly became that of a newborn child when Kushina hugged him and that allowed him to live a lifetime as a child loved by a mother in that second. He wasn't sad, conflicted or fearful of losing her again; Naruto was just appreciating the chiildhood he never had.

When my 10 years old niece ask me if she could watch Naruto show i said "Hell yea!!!!" .Best show to teach you the good things in life. Repel hate, anger, revenge and give in to love, forgiveness and never give up!!!!

The whole idea about how Naruto does not know who his father is. It's to protect him from people who would hate Minato - ergo he got named after his mom.

Iruka's story just like motoi's story. Their father died in bijuu incident, and they grow up and have a great relation with the jinchuriki

The people who say the Pain arc was the last good one only say that because they were bombarded by fillers throughout the rest of the series. The people who binged the series and skipped fillers like you guys are still love the rest of the series because they don't have to deal with unnecessary fillers. The 5 Kage Summit arc was great and the Great NInja War arc probably has the best emotional writing in the entire series so you guys will definitely enjoy it. Don’t let the people blindsided by fillers convince you how most people actually perceive the rest of the series from the Pain arc and onwards.

Tailed beasts are living chakra so eventually they reconstitute themselves, one of the earlier fillers "was about" the three tails that had recently reconstituted.

Seeing this kurama and the future kurama got me tear up (if you know what I mean) 😭😭😭

Quite an emotional episode, and I think it hits a bit harder after the new Boruto episode. Kishimoto is really good at writing emotional moments.

I love the irony of this video releasing today, considering what happened in Boruto's latest episode.

After watching this then remembering boruto being unhappy with his parent my rage towards him increases by 1000 times......

also, one of the best things about the whole naruto series is kishimoto written them in reflection to his life, naruto (esp early naruto) was based off of him, even the clothes he wore - kishi said he used to wear trackies like that as a kid and that narutos relationship with his father was based on his own relationship with his father. additionally to that, naruto's relationship with his own son boruto, is based off of his relationship with his real son as well which is dope cause it draws partially from real life which is why it truly hits in moments like these.

UFF how i missed being sad&sorrow again for the scene i first saw playing Naruto Storm 3 (without fillers xD) where Kishimoto express perfect the feels of parents towards their son (thanks to having a Son, who will be a biggu influency in Burrito for understandable reasons) and brah, it's so magic

I was playing one of the naruto ultimate games and was playing though this part and all my friends was playing there own games and paying attention to what they where doing and the game played that whole part of this episode , and I put down my controller to watch it and when it ended I picked up controller and heard some one sniff from crying and I looked back and saw all 6 of my friends stopped what they where playing , doing , ect and watch it with me and one of them said “ why was that good “ lol I just responded “ IDK that’s naruto “ and continued playing 😊

This hit so hard reading it for the first time in the manga and as for the anime adaptation this episode never fails to make me cry

The reason why sarutobi didn't let anyone know naruto was minato's kid was because minato was a dangerous and famous person bad people were after him all the time... And now that he's dead they would come for naruto..... That is why naruto's surname is uzumaki not namikaze

These three episode's always makes me cry. Even more after having a child of my own. My husband and me both immediately cried after Karin was born and we heard her first cry. I am currently re-watching Naruto Shippuden with a friend, she's never seen Naruto. I'm glad to experience it with her, but I do feel bad that's she's cried almost during every episode.

I was a kid the first time i watched this scene and now i'm 20 and there was not ONE time i didn't cry in the 29193394734 times i've watched this, without fail I always cry bruh, it always hit different depending on where i am in life + where the story in this universe at the moment. regardless of the faults in kishimoto's writing sometimes, everyone has their strengths and weaknesses and kishi's emotional writing and skill in story-telling is definitely one of his strengths. also yes, mfs who keep saying naruto does downhill after pain arc are tripping, its fine to not like a show/series but they're usually people/hype beasts who stopped watching after that arc anyways so they wouldn't know shit, i mean they're mostly mad cause this arc kind of dragged a bit but they don't have a connection with the story due to that reason so don't take their word for it - they just like to ruin other peoples experiences due to their own selfish pride. at the end of the day it's best to always decide for yourself whether you like something or not, cause people be robbing themselves of experiences by listening to other people without even questioning it and its a damn shame. I personally don't think it's fair to write off his entire anime due to some flaws, he def could've done better with certain things or certain characters but it's rare to ever have a whole perfect product and that usually rarely exists, that was just his weakness and other authours have that weakness in a different areas. after all it was only just him writing the story with ikemoto, not a whole team - ur bound to miss things, and in my personal opinion now with boruto as well, kodachi being added to the team have improved certain aspects of his writing and fill some gaps/develop certain characters in the story in which he didn't have time to do before, esp has he was rushed and working 24/7 with this manga/anime. anyways, this anime will always be a treasure to me, re-watching moments like this with yall remind me of how much this story means to me and helped me through life.
