Now Minato,Naruto,Boruto have their own shows

First Nami(she was Top 3 in OP worldwide popularity that happened 2 years ago) and now Sakura who is Top 3 in this poll ,they both achieved phenomenal results , haters are surprised that how did they land in Top 3 despite them always gassing their own favourite (looking at Hinata , Robin and Boa Fans ). Well , what they don't know is that both Nami and Sakura have a very huge fanbase worldwide despite the hate they receive.

So characters like Choji, Kankuro, Asuma, Kiba, Shino, Hiruzen, Ino, Sai and Kisame... I feel like they should've been ranked a little higher than they were. And there's something mildly amusing about Madara and Sasuke being ranked back to back. But I'm very much satisfied with Minato being number 1

WHO ELSE thought Sakura didn’t make the list at all, but was SHOCKED how high she was!? I definitely expected her in the top 20, but I’m very impressed and glad that as time went by people truly appreciated her!

Wonder if Kishimoto intentionally planned on Minato and Itachi to be the much cooler versions of the main characters with nearly flawless character types. The 2 greatest prodigies of all time only comparable to each other who gave up everything for the main characters.

Thing is, for decades Sakura and her fans have been hated and the fandom turns a blind eye. So, we just grew stronger in our on comfort. Sakura has dedicated content creators. Artists, fanfiction writers, blogs, fan made merchandise, etc you name it. We buy ALL of her products. We love Sasuke and Sarada too. In short, we put our money and time where our mouths are. The more she was hated, the more we loved her and still do. Now Kishimoto knows that we love this pink haired warrior and we're very proud of her, flaws and all! That's what makes her relatable. Worked her ass off to where she is today. Go Sakura! Most voted fight in the series and #3 world wide!

Sakuras came a long way, at the beginning Kishi didn’t really know how to handle her, it wasn’t really his fault more the editors, as he wanted Sakura to be a genjutsu prodigy, you can see some references at the beginning of the series, but never went anywhere. This is because the editors told Kishi that because it’s a shonen, he should focus more on male characters. This is probably why she came across as “useless” at the beginning because Kishis ideas for Sakura were shut down. But despite this Sakura still is my favourite character. She worked for every ounce of strength, and wasn’t taken seriously by her male comrades. One instance of this is during the chunin exams Kakashi gets Ebisu to train Naruto (which eventually he ends up with Jiraiya) , whilst he trains Sasuke, it’s something I notice in Naruto, that the guys were always offered teachers to learn new skills and Sakura was not offered the same attention as the boys. But unlike Sasuke or Naruto who were offered one on one teachers, she had to consciously go out of her way and ask Lady Tsunade. Sakura was self aware she was falling behind, she wasn’t offered the same chances as the boys, she didn’t have special clan blood or unlimited supply of chakra like Naruto or Sasuke she had to work for what she got. At the beginning of the series she struggled to better herself, especially with Naruto and Sasukes rivalry causing Sakura to get pushed into the background. I also noticed Sasuke and Naruto and even Kakashi would coddle Sakura, if there was a threat or any danger one of them would jump in front of her, even in one of the opening credits for Naruto there’s a log that’s about to fall on them everyone jumps out of the way but Kakashi holds Sakura instinctively and moves her out of the way, which really shows the teams dynamics. Whilst I get them being protective as she’s the only girl on the team, how could she better herself when she wasn’t getting the same fighting action as the boys. But despite her lack of strength at the beginning she still would sacrifice herself for her teammates, even when she was considered weak Sakura held her ground against sound ninjas during the forest of death, despite knowing she was weaker and didn’t stand a chance, all while Ino, Shikamaru and Choji hid in a bush! Sakura is also the most logically smart one on the team, she was the only one who didn’t cheat or not fill in the pages on her entrance exam. So sorry for the long dribble, it’s just when your a Naruto fan and your asked your favourite character, it’s always like you need a reason to justify Sakura being your fav, and this just proves I’m not the only one. She was always overlooked, but look at her now 👍😄🌸🌸🌸

I had assumed most people would be voting for the same 20-30 characters, so me voting for Manabu Akado would have had a chance of getting somewhere on the list. Looks like I wasn't the only one going for troll votes, since two of the onsen naked chicks made it. Kinda stinks I couldn't see my dude make the cut.
