It's third hokage. Recall in the earlier chapters that Iruka was complaining to 3rd hokage about naruto. 3rd made iruka realize that both him and naruto are the same. 2 orphans that didn't grow up with love. It only makes sense because 3rd hokage knows the identity and back story of naruto, the child of the 4th hokage. So he definitely looked out for Naruto from the get-go. Most likely the reason Naruto was even able to have housing and food was probably because 3rd hokage set up some kind of pension for naruto to survive.

I especially liked the Part where rob confessed to him in the middle of the fight and dropped on his knees begging him to marry rob although pain made a grave mistake attacking rob after Yamato accepted Yamato had to use 2 percent of his power instead of 1 pain got bodied😪

The animation was fluid. Too fluid. Looked like a bunch of looney tunes characters goofing around. They ruined the fight and made so many changes to how it was in the manga. Really wish they'd go back and fix it.

I see this often and it’s really strange how people think that Guy would be able to just effortlessly defeat Pain. Stop exaggerating his mention. Aside from the Gate of Death, if Guy opens Gates 1-7, he would most definitely get annihilated by Pain. Guy has absolutely nothing in his arsenal to deal with Chibaku Tensei. With all Paths of Pain, along with the summons from the animal path, Guy simply has no way to deal with a prolonged battle with his gates opened. Almighty Push would be able to deal with all of Guy’s attacks except, possibly Hirudora; unless Pain uses its stronger variants. Guy wouldn’t be able to deal with some of the summons, especially the drill-beaked bird, the dogs, and the chameleon. He’s a pure taijutsu fighter so dealing with the dogs will be next to impossible unless he gets rid of the animal path; which will likely be very difficult. Even if he does manage to, it can still get revived. Pain can just one shot him with Ningendo, absorb his chakra with Gakido. Tendo could pull him into the clutches of either one of them if Guy is busy fighting another path or summon.

People's argument about Guy at every fight like he could just use the 8 gates... Like he is easily the strongest makes no sense...

It only works on tailed beast power, and he struggled against four-tails of 1/2 of Kurama even with the necklace. Also Kakashi carried that fight. And that was while all Six Paths were up and running so they were weaker compared to when Nagato only controlled Tendo and fought against a more powerful Kurama-empowered Naruto.

In terms of which arc was better, it's clearly the pain arc because of the overall storytelling. However, I believe Madara as an individual is a slightly better villain than Pain. Keep in mind this does not mean that I believe the War arc was better than the pain arc because I agree with you, the way Madara died left an awful taste. However, in saying that, if it wasn't for that one part (Madara dying to Zetsu), the War arc would have been my favourite arc. In the end, it still ends up as my 2nd favourite arc because nearly all of my favourite fights happened in that arc.

Pain is the Best Villain indeed. This character is beyond dope he goes way beyond strength. He killed Jiraya. He killed kakashi (despite nagato reviving everybody in the end pain was the one who killed kakashi not nagato even though nagato controlled them the whole time). Almost killed Hinata. Destroyed the Leaf in one move (the main village in the show, "the protagonists" If you Will). His theme Girei is the Best in the show. His story is beyond dope, who he is, How he acts, the way he speaks With a God voice, everything about Pain is so Damn well made, kishimoto really way to Go on this one for creating this masterpiece called Pain. For me him along with Itachi are by Far the two greatest Written Characters in Naruto franchise.
