So Sasuke's thought process is that people only unite when they have something to hate. Naruto says that true unity is possible since the world is under one headband right now but Sasuke counters saying the only reason everyone united was out of fear of Madara. So he's going to take a page out of Itachi's book. He's going to make himself so powerful, so despicable, that the world won't have time to hate each other because everyone will be too busy hating him. Because the Hokage ensures peace whether everyone likes it or not. But the problem with such a plan is that it requires him to not only be completely alone so it's impossible to gain leverage over him but he also has to be entirely unrivaled in power. Meaning Naruto can't live. Even if Sasuke considers him a friend, Naruto existing means he can't be the implacable global threat that keeps everyone in line.

Sasuke is such a well-written character. It’s a shame some of his character his lost due to the grievous misunderstandings of others.

Sasuke's plan kinda made sense if you payed attention. By killing all kage all the world's hatred would be concentrated on him and him alone, he would hang out behind the scenes and only come out to fuck up a village if they act out of hand and start wars again. It would maintain peace altough through fear. Naruto's plan is more preferable but utopian and ideallistic and most likely unnatainable. Sasuke's is less preferable but more feasible and realistic.

I'm sad these guys didn't see why Sasuke sees things how he does... the best part about this fight was that while you might not agree with him you still can't say he's wrong. The 5 Kage created a really f*cked up world that lead to Itachi shouldering a massive chunk of hatred and, in his point of view, Itachi's only weakness was that he wasn't immortal and strong enough to shoulder all 5 nations worth if the hatred. Something that the power of the Rinnegan allowed him to correct.

Yes preventing a major civil war and eventually world war was a part of his choice, but the biggest thing is that he did it to preserve Sasuke’s future

Listen, I don't understand why you guys can hype up Eren Yeager but not Sasuke. Eren killed innocent civilians and kids while Sasuke hasn't but apparently Sasuke is crazy wtf. I feel like everybody who ever watched this show and hates on sasuke just misses his point. His brother literally was a loyal leaf shinobi who killed his whole clan other than his little brother for the greater good. He took all of that pain and suffering and lived with it so other people could live in peace because his clan wouldn’t back down and look at the bigger picture. The uchiha were the bad guys in that scenario. And now sasuke is saying he’d do the same expect instead of just doing it for the leaf village he’d do it for the whole world and everybody would live in peace with the threat of him always looming over them. He never said he would just go and kill people. He’s saying that he would basically be the worlds one enemy so every nation would have to live in peace to cooperate against him. Now I don’t know if he’d just slaughter innocents but I feel like he wouldn’t and he would just do something big once in a while and stay on the run so they’d have to continuously have to band together to fight him. If naruto died then he could’ve easily done that but naruto is the only person who can stand against him so he wants to kill naruto for that reason.

Sauske doesn’t want to control the world, he wants to be a threat that they constantly unite against. This keeping the shinobi world united against him. It’s a lot like pains plan.

Sasuke was trying to be the villages single enemy. Because they only came together to fight a singular problem. And to keep that peace by directing every village’s hatred towards him

I would've liked them to go deeper into why they don't like sasuke's motivations. Sasuke acknowledged himself in the beginning of the fight that things won't always go smoothly, but at least it's better than the murderous and tragic (but still hopeful) shinobi system they were in.

It finally hit me after watching this, that Sasuke when he extracts the tailed beast chakra and transforms the Susanoo into the final form the form that takes place it evolves into Final Susanoo is literally Indra, the Hindu/ Buddhist God of Thunder and Lightning. Sasuke is supposed to the reincarnation of Hagoromo's son Indra who was also the first user of the Susanoo. So it is fitting, that the final transformation of the Susanoo is to become Indra and use the lightning as his weapon as in mythology. The final attack is literally called Indra's arrow when he shoots it from the Susanoo.

I'm sorry you guys (even though i love you) have successfully triggered me into commenting, but that fact that you guys see sasuke as being this idiot with a poorly conceived plan are you just bein airheaded and i feel like i can rationalize, and yes i am a little bit of a nerd for Naruto i guess. Well how would Sasuke rule all 5 major villages at once? He's only one person after all? Well remember, Sasuke has access to all 6(technically 7)basic Rinnegan abilities. Sasuke could easily use the bodies of the Five Kage to police each village, and use Naruto's body to settle anything major that the other paths couldn't stop. Imagine Onoki using dust release to deatomize someone who openly opposed Sasuke. Who in their right mind would be able to stand up to Sasuke? Naruto would have already been killed. The Five Kage would be could easily be killed. Gai, the only person still alive by that point who could use the eighth gate was already barely clinging to life after being saved by Naruto due to using it earlier. Lee couldn't even open the eighth gate. Kakashi had lost both his Sharingan, and was completely exhausted. Sakura would have already used up all her 100 healings Chakra and used up most of her regular reserves. The Sage of Six Paths already stated he wouldn't intervene. Sasuke might have been fatigued, but he could easily bite Karin and use her to heal and gain back his energy before announcing what had happened. Not to mention Sasuke could learn Izanagi and he wouldn't even have to use his own eyes seeing as he knows where obito keeps his supplies of sharingan eyes. Don't like that? Well Sasuke could implant his Sharinnegan into some fodder and put them under a genjutsu to use the Rinne-Rebirth jutsu to revive him. Orochimaru is alive here, so Sasuke could easily have Orochimaru teach him his jutsu that allows Orochimaru to swap bodies, and work with him to perfect the jutsu Even if an entire village fully rebelled against Sasuke, it would easily be crushed. Sasori, using his 100 puppets jutsu took over a small nation. Imagine what Sasuke could do with a bleedin' Rinnegan, a perfect Susanoo, Ameterasu and Blaze release, and his 6 paths. The destruction of an entire major village would stop the changes of any further rebellions. (This part is unnecessary to read it's just me stating Sasukes capabilites and ranting) Even if the ninja alliance charged Sasuke all at once, what would it matter? Pre Hokage Minato was capable of killing 1,000 ninja in one battle. Edo Madara had casually destroyed at least an entire division that had two kage and a Naruto clone there. Sasuke makes both of them look like academy students by comparison. The ninja alliance would be annihilated if they even tried something like that. Cold logic, but logic nonetheless. I think I've proved my point.

A nice touch in Naruto is the fact that as the series progresses his shadow clones become more potent. In the beginning a small hit and poof but now his clones can throw hands and tank some damage, honestly one of my favorite parts of this fight.

Yo guy's to Clarify things About Naruto:The Last Yes Naruto still has "Sage of six paths power's" Specifically what it is called is "Six path's Senjutsu" (He received this type of Chakra when he met Hagoromo Otsutsuki aka "The Sage Of Six Path's") But he also specifically gave Naruto The "Yang" half of his Ability the "Yin-Yang release" Sasuke Received specifically "Sage Of Six Paths Chakra" This Specifically allowed him to access his Rinnegan (Listen you need both uchiha blood and senju blood running in your veins to unlock the rinnegan. This is what madara did Uchiha are direct descendant's of Indra Otsutsuki 'Who fun fact never had a rinnegan' Senju and uzumaki are direct descendant's of Ashura Otsutsuki.... .. Again Pat, remember that the itachi filler arc wasn't accurate to the novels, so Itachi didn't "choose to kill" the Uchiha despite his father having Mangekyo, and without trying to discuss with the Uchiha first. In the novels (and the canon) Itachi/Shisui talked with the Uchiha in clan meetings, and Itachi's father never proposed a truly viable alternative plan.
