"They say the coolest playas and foulest heart breakers in the world, God gets us back, he makes us have precious little girls". This line blows my mind!!!!!!
Do you know that most people die unexpectedly? Have you made things right with God? Have you accepted Jesus as your Lord and savior? Don't hesitate, accept the gift of salvation today and seek the Lord.
"they say the coolest players and foulest heartbreakers in the world, god gets us back he makes us have precious little girls" FUCKIN GENIUS RIGHT HERE FOLKS..
Malini Houdini he is saying that for guys who are players or guys that break girls hearts... god gets them back by making them have daughters... so now he has to deal with all the younger players who were like him when he was young and are hitting on his daughter..
As an oldest daughter of 4, I feel the same way. My dad used to play this song 24/7. It didn’t mean much to me until now, old enough to understand. Blessed
It’s crazy I bumped this in the hospital when my first daughter was born. Now I ride around BUMPING this jam and look back to see my daughters smiling💙💙. Hits so much different now! MUCH RESPECT 💯💯💯
I think she specified black dads because of the stereotype that they aren’t around. All of you questioning her are giving off ‘all lives matter’ energy.
Fuck man, my dad raised me all by himself. His own dad was an abusive monster who left when he was ten, hasn't seen him sense. He could have fucked off like his own father, but he stayed, said he didn't want to propagate a cycle. Can't believe all of the mean shit I used to say to my dad back when I was younger, thinking I didn't need him, thinking I deserved a better father. Never dated any woman after my mom, said he didn't want to date a bad egg and see me get hurt. Goddamn, this song fucked me right up, I'ma go tell my father I love him.
HeroSlam I feel you I'm right there with you my father raised me and my so by himself my mom split when I was 5 and he did his best to raise us right in this crooked world never could I repay him for the sacrifices he made for us both. Much love and respect to all the single fathers doing their best to raise their kids

nas be speaking the truth when he says... "To The coolest playas an foulest heart breakas in the world. God gets us back he makes us have precious little girls!" kills it! thats how im getting my payback lol🙋
Nas is definitely one of the greatest rapper ever , and this song speaks volumes to current day families , first time I heard this song I fell in love with it
I was in high school when I first heard this song and I said nah I'll never have a girl, but now I gotta little girl. Things change quick! And is my favorite MC!
Ita not about rapping. Hip hop is a tool of expression for those without a voice amongst the mainstream that is why hip hop started where and when the BlackCRights movement "ended". Hip hop stands in the shoulders of woman just listen to Krs one's interview on little boys and men of hip hop. He breaks it down real good so everyone can digest it.
This track signifies why Nas is the greatest rapper of all time. He's not only versatile and can go into any subject but it's hot. Jay can't do a song like this, Biggie never had the chance and Pac never had kids (which is no fault of his own). But this song actually touches people and shows that Nas is truly a modern day Shakespeare.
This song hits different when you’re the daughter❤️ “she look at me like I’m not the cleanest father figure, but she rockin with it”‼️I love you dad, we’ve gone through so much over the years, the years you were home, the years you were in jail/rehab/prison, the times we had fun, and the times I was scared of you, the times your mind is here and the times they’re not, I miss you even though you’re still here and I love you unconditionally and everything we went through has shown that. Dear God please heal my dads mind, soul, and body, please let me have the dad I’ve gotten, lost, and needed back so I have good last memories of him❤🙏🏼and please never let him touch any drug that can do to his mind the things that these have🙏🏼❤️
You should tell him this yourself and if you know where he is you should tell him how much you love him even if it’s not the right time because you might be mad, he might not be happy so you telling him that might make him realize what he’s missed ❤ but I don’t know where he is so I can’t really speak on it but don’t wait too long to talk with him
@@da_consultant_guyI hear ya man. My daughter is turning 3 soon, and I'm dreading the day she becomes a woman. It's our responsibility as fathers to drop jewels for our daughters
Every father has made mistakes, me included of course. That being said, you being a single father, can you distinguish between the "inevitable" mistakes and possibly the things you could've done better? You're very limited being a single father, so I imagine that's very difficult!
This song makes me so emotional because I’ve never had a father figure in my life and I have two daughters of my own who have their dad in their life who loves them unconditionally, and happy to say they never have to grow up without their father like I did.
Doesn't matter no such thing as lucky . Even if Nas wasn't a artist. She would still be happy to have him as a father. Any father that takes care of their daughter is a hero to their daughter regardless of being a celebrity or not.
Carmelo Anthony Relevance has a lot to do with a rapper, from the stories they tell to the flow they have. 2pac was good. but nas is better because he has stories that everyone can relate to. not just niggas in the hood or in poverty.
One of the greatest moments in hip hop history honestly.. for him to take the situation with his daughter, defend her and make a classic song all on short notice? Legend...
I used to think so for a long time. I've been a long time fan. But this Nicki Minaj shit has thrown me. I don't know what to think anymore. If he can get down with a social climber like that , Among many other disgusting things she brings to the table, it just makes him look really bad. I love his music still and I'll try to reserve my judgment because I don't know what's going on in his head and he's done a lot more good than bad. Everyone makes mistakes and his is Nicki Minaj. It will just take him a while to figure that out apparently but someday he will.
Nas is human everybody has their faults maybe getting with Nicki can help her in areas where she is weak remember its all entertainment & at the end of the day bills must be paid & he must provide for his kids. Love!
As a father of two little girls this song is my shit by nas and nas is one of my favorite rappers. It's funny though cause I had two little girls and they changed my entire world and some of my friends had daughters also and they also did a complete 360 I'm there lives. Stopped dealing ,partying smoking and drinking . Got into fitness . It's something about seeing that little girl come into your life that changes you as a man.
Nas should've mentioned about the verse in World is yours, where he talks about his Daughter, 'Thinking of a word, best to describe my life, to name my daughter, my strength'
My daughter just turned ONE TODAY ! May 12th, 2021. My father passed from Covid-19 in 2020. One of his last messages to me was that my daughter was gonna be born on May 12th, 2020. He died 4 weeks before he could meet her. I love my father very much & I promise to honor him by being a very proud & great girl dad !
So much respect for this guy. Growing up I never appreciated his music, because I couldn't understand his lyrics, but as I grew older and became more knowledgeable, his lyrics made so much more sense. Truly an amazing rapper who has always been under appreciated because it takes intelligence to decipher his lyrics. Hope he drops one last album before retiring. Will definitely treasure it
Life ain’t fair to nobody. But all is fair in Love & War. “They say the coolest players and foulest heartbreakers in the world, God gets us back. By making us have precious little girls….”🍷🌻
My daughter is a week old now, she is my first, that day the mother went to labour I felt scared, I was nervous and excited at the same time, I was a a bag of nerves but the nervousness and fear all went away when I held her in my arms hours later. So far so good, It is a great feeling man, a week ago she wasn't born but now I am feel like I cannot live without her. Here's to all the brothers with daughters and sons too. Happy parenting world.
Nas definitely knocked it out the park with this song and video!! Still an underrated artist!! Some many Teen Pregnancies out here, Why! because theirs a bunch of daughters out here with no fathers! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🎙🎙🎙🎤🎤🎤

This song hits home as a Father of 3daughters I learned how to be a better father. Dads if we set the standard and if we do what we supposed to do our Daughters will choose a man like their Dad . To my Daughters I’m Proud to be your Dad ❤😊
I can't imagine what you're going through. I can't imagine what you're father has been through. Some people just aren't wired right. Maybe he went through something that traumatized him. Or maybe he just has always been like that. For what it's worth, I wish the best in life for you. Good health and a strong education will take you anywhere you want to go, but the journey absolutely will be treacherous. Keep your eyes on the prize. 🙏💪✌
You're fucking stupid, Havoc and Prod of Mobb Deep still alive nigga, snoop, cube, dre all still alive nigga all very much true orignals, shit even Jay still here if you count Reasonable Doubt, shit why wouldnt you... nigga, Method Man still around, nigga just cause you dont listen to they new shit dont mean you know wtf is up..
jahlon burruss But NAS was still on a higher level than them at the time (maybe not snoop, jay or cube) but NAS has kept it real ever since. (not saying the people you mentioned haven't) but he's better in my opinion overall (I prefer Dre. and snoop but they haven't done much)
dedicate this song to my twin girls. love them so much. They turn 7 this year on March 6th. Legoland, here we come. and Nas is favorite rapper of all time.
Ian Groatman nice, and that's crazy. Are they fraternal or identical? Mines are identical and one looks like me and the other looks like the their mom.
+DothollaMusic23 yes boss congratuations, you now are raising a little girl. my parent and my fam always been telling me that it was me who raised my sister, im always worrying about her when she comes from uni kinda late and stuff like that. but again congratuations and i hope you have a great life with your daughter
Having a daughter as a single parent is the hardest thing In the world especially if you you’ve never had a kid before.. salute all the single dads trying to do the right thing out there.. it’s hard
@@Phantom73949 stay positive your gonna have tough times your gonna have good times.. just as long you understand that your job as a father will never be done be patient. It will come instinctively.. the happy memories you have with your child is more the worth it all i Guarantee it my friend
Over 100 of the most hardcore hip-hop groups lent their wisdom for the book *HOW TO RAP* along with *HOW TO RAP 2*. They interviewed dudes like Mobb Deep, Wu-Tang, Das EFX, Heltah Skeltah, Tribe, Pharcyde, and others.
For you hiphop heads out there who may not have caught this. Remember Nas line back in illmatic "Tryna find a word best describing my life to name my daughter"? Destiny was the perfect name for that and this is a perfect follow up joint
I love this song and music video! I'd never compare them to Nas' classic albums, but this song shows how far Nas has come. Congrats guys, we successfully got our man out of the hood.
My baby is a big 2nd grader now. My lil pocket princess. It seems like yesterday I held her for the first time and was floating 💕we lost her mom in July so I’ve been representing 💯24/7 forever slappn this 🔥
to this day i still wish my two favorite artist could have done a track together. a nas and eminem track talking about their daughter would be my favorite song ever
I love Big but his story telling aint like Nas. Nas touch the soul and make you think. My daughter is only 7 and he got me thinking already about her teen days lol
Father of a beautiful baby girl she a be 1 in February and its been a blessing everyday but I listen to this as a reminder of how important it is to have great communication between father and daughter 💯
tupac _ i finally understand for a woman it anit easy tryna raise a woman -dear mama nas - i finally understand it anit easy tryna raise a girl as a man-daughters this goes to show its hard being a single parent no matter what gender , both the legends told you so
