Nas connects with Zane to discuss his album ‘King’s Disease’ and the inspiration behind the project. Nas reflects on the premise of tracks like “Replace Me,” featuring Don Toliver and Big Sean, “The Definition” with Brucie B, and "The Cure." He also speaks on what led to the disbandment of the former rap supergroup The Firm and the loss of his mother. Listen to Nas on Apple Music: apple.co/-KingsDisease

Nas has never ever sounded articulate in interviews even when asked the simplest questions. I used to think it was because he was high or some but it's just the way he is. He also has a lazy vocabulary in interviews, uses words like "cool", "thats crazy" often. He is also a better story teller when rapping that in conversation (interviews).

@@Synchronite ... okay, maybe so but he's allowed to grow right? Alot of rappers start out sounding "hood" or unpolished or uncomfortable talkin to media but they grow, they find out the world is bigger than the projects or the neighborhood or the city they come from, they tour, they meet people of all different races and cultures and they grow, so that's what we have in Nas, a man who has been all over the world, learned, grown, become a mature man.

Whiter than bleach...own every Album ever released by Nas. In my opinion the greatest Rap artist of all time....most will say 2Pac or Biggie...some think Eminem is the best. I prefer the storytelling, voice, lyrics, flow variations and city sound. I love the dark, downtownish sound over the LA funky sound, the southern 808 heavy sound, drill or any other sound. I have to say, Nas is a representation of a real man that has a story....

G.O.A.T MC...this is gotta be one of Nas' best interviews and that's because the interviewer was very engaging and asked the right questions

Salute to the King Nas 👑.. Support the Album it’s only $10 the lyrical content is far ahead of what’s currently on the air waves.. we need nothing but more artists like this to take over & deliver knowledge above nonsense.. ✊🏾💯💯🔥🔥

Such a great interview! There were questions asked that I didn't know how Nas would respond. He's generally a calm, poised person. But being that he's introverted and has a street background, one would want to be cautious how they ask this man about his personal life (like heartbreaks and past relationships especially) and make sure they show respect and not give off a bad impression.

He is truly a blessing to Hip Hop. In hindsight it is hard to imagine Hip Hop without this genius King.

Nas & Mega being back on great terms really touches a brotha. I been wanting that for years. There was brief periods of it but I feel now it’s finally permanent. Two grown men. Two Kings on the same page. Their relationship is more powerful and impactful than Nas & Jay-Z because Nas & Mega grew up together. Salute to them both. That clarity sets an example for many people

Nas and his music never age. Dude still looks like he’s in his early 30’s. Legend. Great album. Looking forward to Dr. Dre and Nas collab. Peace everyone.
