MAP Motorsports used the Friday TREC endurance race as additional test and tune sessions to dial-in the new suspension, brakes, and aero on the www.MAPDataSystems.com mustang. Finishing some suspension changes to get more rear-wheel bite out of the corners resulted in the car being late to grid, but driver John Baucom was able to catch the back of the pack as the green flag fell. The GT500 race car featured several new components including new coil-over suspension from @motioncontrolsuspension1091, new brakes from @BremboTube and @racetechnologies, beautiful new 18x12 VS-5RS wheels from @apexwheels, a Gladiator front splitter from @archetyperacing, and brand new 18” Michelin S9M competition slicks from @trackdaytire8281.
