Warning Pluto is actually very beautiful. The latest photos reveal an extraordinary landscape. It deserves to be reinstated as a planet. It doesn't look at all like a person walking, just a formation shifting.

As Pluto is the 9th planet there is many surprises. It seems to be a similar phenomenon like what is seen in death valley with rocks moving across the surface of the soil.

I thought Pluto was upgraded to a double planet because of its shared center of gravity with Charon? Is this no longer the case??

You know... I don't think people would have such an issue with Pluto "not being a planet" if they wouldn't just drop it from all but the college textbooks. Like growing up we all saw it in even our elementary text books...but the idea that it's there, but let's not talk about it because it's "not important" enough to be a planet and is reduced to an asterisk bullet point on charts in books stating its only there for historical benefit...is honestly what people probably have more of an issue with. If we're gonna talk about "the solar system" even the basic books on the subject should discuss all the known objects...and help distinguish that difference early on...rather then go about it and not discuss it just because "it's not a planet"... like they mention the asteroid belt, yet until you get to some kind of advanced text there's no mention of Ceres. I'm not saying every kids text book needs to have everything we know about every object, all I'm saying is that it's kind of ignorant that when discussions on the solar system come up, Pluto now gets the backseat to actual planets, when in fact it's just as important and interesting as the other objects if not more.

NASA. You can't have any more new planets until you restore Pluto
