The opening ceremony for NASA's Student Launch kicked off at 8:20 a.m. CDT on Saturday, April 13. Teams started launching rockets at 9 a.m. CDT at Bragg Farms in Toney, Alabama - just minutes north of NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center.
Student Launch challenges students from middle schools, high schools, colleges, and universities across the United States to design, build, test, and fly a high-powered amateur rocket and a payload.
