I wonder if they could simulate bumps and dips like you would see on the track. We all know that these tracks are not glass smooth lol. I’d be curious to see how the car moves over the bumps affects the aero performance.

I was about to comment on the same thing, how turbulent is the air around the nose or under the car from the abrasive nature of the track, I'd image that is probably a variable they can't test for in controlled conditions.

Am I the only one that sees a re skinned DTM Chassis. With an American V8.

Yes you are. Just look at all the differences around the wheel arches. There is basically nothing in common with (old) DTM, starting with the base: cfrp monocoque vs steel tubs. And the new DTM is GT3 and they dont have anything in common with silhouette series like NASCAR is.
