I've been racing dirt track late models for 30 years every time I see a crash my shoulders and groin start hurting I know how it feels at 100 MPH I can't even imagine what it feels like at 200 I bet it feels like you pick up another 100 mph and that the car is never going to drop spinning, flipping and sliding,If I had one Wish it would be that all tracks professional and otherwise had to use safe barrier walls because anyone who has never raced you have no idea the pain that comes from hitting a concrete wall in a vehicle designed for speed not comfort the 5 pt harnesses are normally 3" wide belts that leave bruises across the shoulders waist and groin plus your knees bounce off the steering column Wich is just a Steel post your brain bounces around your 💀 for the next day or so your sick to the stomach and have a massive headache

That has to hurt like hell,It hurts bad enough in my super late model when I crash and our speed on dirt is only like 80 to 130 mph depending on the track,but when I hit a wall it feels like someone hitting my shoulders and neck with a sledge hammer

I’ve kinda wanted to have a try at nascar as a secondary career in the future, but I feel that with my twitchy nature, an accident like this would probably cause me a heart attack like blowing an engine when downshifting straight to first

Rough time for 48 fans : ( I think it really hit me this week (Kansas) how bad there struggling when he was trying to stay on the lead lap in stage one . I was thinking this is probably the hardest he has had to race this year . I ve been a 48 fan since the 600 in his rookie year. I worry he has "peaked" in his career. I think he will win more races before he hangs it up . I am just worried we'll never see anymore 48 appearances like we have been used to seeing. It may not be this season , however I am still optimistic the new chevy is still being figured out . I ve actually wondered if Stewart Haas switching to Ford has had a impact on Hendrick & Chevy with the new car . I know this isn't a huge or signicant part of the problem , none the less Stewart/Haas was four more chassis Hendrick was providing and receiving some feedback on .
