I love that the number3 still looks the same as it did when I was watching ronnie bouchard and summers ( I think it was summers)drive it back in the day. Obviously the car is different but the paint looks the same

People don't realize how fast they're actually driving and how much harder it is then other motorsports. Imagine driving on a highway with a minimum speed of 150mph with no traction control pushing over 800HP and a heavy ass car and trying to turn at that speed with other drivers going just as fast. In Formula 1 the racing line is known and drivers skill doesn't win races but money does which is why Mercedes constantly wins while in NASCAR with an oval track there's multiple lines a driver can take each with its pros and cons and where driver skill is what wins races. Don't get me wrong Formula 1 is extremely impressive technology wise but when you have a car manufacturers being able to compete with their own team with unlimited money its makes it really not fair for the other teams who don't have the R&D team and money Mercedes does. Plus with how Fromula 1 relies completly on OEMs competing gives Mercedes so much leverage to pull strings like how they pushed to make turbo v6s a requirement because they were already way ahead R&D wise while others were trying to make their v8s better which caught everyone off guard and forced to develop a turbo v6 that can compete .
Don’t compare it to F1..it’s not even close!.these cars are design for oval circuits..which virtually has one corner ..always left corner..you can even drink beer while driving..
