جب بھی دل اداس رہتا ھے محترم ناشناس کو ہی سنتے ہیں لفظوں میں جادو ہیں الفاظوں میں معنی ہیں درد ہیں

The best thing that happened to me most recently is one of my friend introducing me to the this legendary ghazal singer

Dr Nashanas, my old friend used to sing this song for me in New Delhi in 1971-72. Dr Surender Bhutani in Warsaw (Poland)

What a delight it is to listen to this great treasure of the subcontinent and a musical jewel from Afghanistan. While religion and politics divide people, here is an example of how music unites people across those divides. He is 88 now, but may Allah fill our hearts with his voice for many many more years.

What a treat! Can't get enough of such soothing voice. May God give him a long life.

Indeed, one of the greatest voices of Urdu Ghazal ever..long live Ustad Nashanas.

I was recently looking for someone who sang Iqbal's shayeri..and I discovered Nashenas.. best thing that happened to me in this COVID situation...

What a superb rendition! Long live Ustad Nashenas.

He is my ALL TIME BEST singer. Once in 60s i had his complete set of albums.

Who can have words to describe how amazingly this Legend have sung this Ghazal. May Allah Almighty bless him in both the worlds. Ameen!!!

I remember When I Was a kid (3 or 4 years), I loved his songs/voice, Even though I couldn't understand but his voice is so serene that I used to fall asleep listening to him.

No words can describe stretches of his greatness. Rare human.
