The 80's were my teenage years. When the movie urban cowboy came out. It brought the cowboy out of me.

Larry Gatlin mentioned Lanierland, that was a huge pasture near Lake Lanier in Cumming, Ga. The owners built a huge stage and had many many Country Stars perform there in the 80s. We saw Alabama before they were really famous. We saw lots of the big stars, Johnny and June, Loretta, Ronnie Milsap, Janie Frickie, Louise Mandrell, George Jones, The Statlers, Tom Jones and more. They did close it after years cause the Stars were beginning to ask more money. They had people to help us park bumper to bumper in a field. If you left before the ones you parked beside, you would sit there until lots of cars moved around you

I enjoyed this great group of singers from LaPaz, Leyte, Philippines.

Larry Gatlin seems to hog the whole show, others don't get up at all.
