This is a standout lesson (I'm a long time HomeSkooler) but it's only one of many examples of your amazing content. I also want to highlight the great "On My Sleeve" lessons that you produced with Mark Lettieri - recommended to anyone. It's so tasty, advanced in some ways but accessible. Thanks heaps, Tom, for an amazing bunch of stuff! Watching with guitar in hand, stopping and tapping left, go back - see that again, play that! Love it all! So playable, open string cool voicing. And thanks, Brett Papa! 💓

Truly an eye opener in rhythm guitar playing techniques and I can watch it play again and again to learn something new. Thanks for sharing an interesting guitar topic.

Brett just like me many years ago in front of a teacher, ‘wait play that again, play it slower’ lol in total awe……Much respect to Brett for showing being a student. Really enjoyed this…

I've picked up SO much from just watching even like 5 mins of Uncle Larry (across his many vids), that sitting down w/ him like Brett is here, or as a student taking a lesson, would be full on information overload! (in the best possible way)

Absolutely fantastic overview of getting chord inversions that can relate to all types of music styles, not just jazz. Anyone with at least a intermediate understanding of the guitar fretboard will get a whole host of ideas from this video. Cannot remember when I saw so much info on chordal tricks and picks of chordal notes and such. Really amazing creative fingering. Really want to hear more of his compositions on recordings.

Uncle Larry can play so emotively, delicate to the part of you that wants to touch and say to your lover” this is the essence of us while we’re tenderly….joined”.
