This is hands down the best study guide I've even able to find. You just helped me understand so many concepts I've been struggling with for months. Thank you.
Wow! Thank you soooo much for this! I watched this video a few times over the weekend and I passed my NASM cpt exam this morning on the first try!!! This video was more helpful then all the other videos I watched put to together! Your hack on the under and overactive muscles was clutch! 🏋🏻♀️❤️🙏🏻

you are literally the only person that I have seen give the overactive and underactive muscles a actual overview and helped to learn each one. If I pass I give 100% of my credit to you
Thank you thank you thank you for your video! I failed the first time and then I came back and found your video and watched and watched AND watched and I passed the second time yesterday!! 🙌🏾 Thank you! Excited to start my coaching career by the end of year once my day job calms down! 😀
You are a good man! God bless you sir! This is by far the most helpful video I have found in my studying! I take my test later this week. Wish me luck!

@@justinantonello Just wanted to follow up to say that I passed my CPT exam! MAJOR thanks to you Justin! The way you were able to communicate the information was a true blessing! You've got a calling on your life my friend!
Just finished the Exam. Sort Healthy Fitness helped a lot but this video was perfect when listening to at work over and over again or on a 30 minuet break. 1 month of studying and was golden. Thank you!!!
Thanks for pointing that out. You’re absolutely right-Phase 2 is 2-4 sets, not 1-3. I appreciate the correction, and I’m glad the video was still helpful for you.
Thanks so much! Yes, I do have a downloadable version available. Check out the NASM Study Guide Slide Deck on my Etsy shop here:(jantonellos.etsy.com/listing/1763617565/nasm-study-guide-slide-deck). Hope it helps!
Hi, thank you for this excellent overview! I'm a NASM CPT, but in addition to my job as a fitness trainer, I also tutor. I will definitely share this video with my students! Also, would I have your permission to use some of your sample questions?
Hi there! Thanks for your kind words and for sharing the video. I'm glad you found it helpful! Yes, you have my permission to use the sample questions in your tutoring sessions. Best of luck to you and your students!
@@justinantonello You're welcome and thank you so much! I will also subscripe to your channel in case I didn't already. Looking forward to your next videos! (btw small youtuber here, started few weeks ago, my channel is all around fitness/martial arts/yoga/dance :-) )
@@mayfit1343 Thanks for subscribing! I checked out your channel and love your content. Just subscribed as well. Looking forward to seeing more of your fitness, martial arts, yoga, and dance videos. Keep up the great work!
i have a question, when you do the exam, is it impossible to look at my notes or something like that? im gonna do it online but im not sure how is it, they put a camera or something like that? lol . thanks
Hey! When you take the NASM exam online, it's a proctored exam, which means they monitor you via a webcam to ensure there's no cheating. So, unfortunately, you can't use any notes or other resources during the exam. They'll ask you to show your testing environment before you start to make sure there's nothing around that could be used to cheat. Just be sure you're well-prepared, and you'll do great! 😊 Good luck on your exam!"
Thank you for your question! After you complete the NASM course and pass the exam, you will receive a certificate. This certificate serves as your official documentation of having earned the NASM certification. You can typically access and download a digital version of your certificate through your NASM account. If you need transcripts or any additional documentation, you can request those from NASM directly. Best of luck with your studies!
Two kinds of warm-up here: 1) General 2) Specific A general warm-up (answer b) is low-intensity exercise with movements that don't necessarily relate to the intense exercise following. This prepares the body by increasing heart rate and blood flow. In contrast, a specific warm-up involves low-intensity exercises that mimic the movements of the upcoming intense exercise, targeting specific muscles. Hope this helps!
The correct answer is C: Machine chest press with Single-leg cable press. This is because Phase 2 focuses on pairing strength exercises with stability exercises. Option A: Bench press with Plyometric push-up is more appropriate for Phase 5, which emphasizes power. Tip: Anytime you see "plyometric," it refers to a power exercise. Hope this helps!
