That song is about his difficult relationship in high school by the way. He was already on the come up in SA hip hop and his girl was finishing high school and they were drifting apart. His part is actually what his girl was saying to him then, so he’s expressing her feelings.

But there are 54 states in Africa! They can react to numerous countries and not limit themselves to SA. Nigeria for one, has good musicians, so do Kenya etc. What you mentioned, is not a valid excuse
