If the full heel is exposed outside the locking arm. That would in effect be a heel hook.

@@bidong the heel can be exposed if the opponent pulls it out himself, isaac doderlien is the person who has a whack of victories like that 'doderlock' its different then the aoki because it doesn't endanger the knee at all.. to do this in training just make sure your pulling straight back on the foot NO CHEST PRESSURE on the heel which would lift the heel up twisting knee like heelhook (this should be obvious but no counter twist with your legs either, those are keys to the true heelhook aoki).. also note this will move break the foot dorsal ligaments like glass, its definitely the strongest footlock so be extremely careful
