Thank you for this interview, Strife. True gem even for this day in age. Much love and respect to Nasty Ray spreading the hip hop culture of dance. Peace.
noooo, screw everyone whining over the videos. They wouldn't get this footage any other way unless they were there. I, for one, love what you guys do. Keep up the work, I know how difficult it can be to edit/cut/process videos. Thanks
Great stuff! Nasty Ray is the shiz. Thanks Strife TV! I think Born also influenced the "tapped mills" or German/Web Mills, which were called "Born mills" at some stage.
I "could" put these videos on "private" when they are still processing. But that takes time. People gotta read the green warning message above the video, **sigh**
Lol i remember last year i really did see Born do a headswipe at a cali jam and i asked him to teach. And he actually did, a lot of bboys are so chill to just teach you those simple things to make you better
After 10yr im back to this short clip again. And the thing is, 2:31 he is the one who actually able to do that ‘double triple spin twist to crazy freeze’ 👍🏻
inspiring. makes me want to practise right now and i jsut might. big ups to nasty ray. one of the bboys that have been sticking to his style of breaking.
I think prolly Born and Luigi inspired people to do headswipes and webs/germans/taps whatever you wanna call it. Also i think cause JonMchu the guy who made step up started that whole online dance crew battle thing vs miley cyrus lmao
i need more schooling like this!!!! this kind of direction is what my bboyin is lacking! ray, come back out here and teach a workshop instead of judging with cico!! haha
there was a neighborhood where i grew up called rock creek. at the park in the center of the neighborhood, i used to see bboys there doing their thing. it inspired me to dance
It bothers me that a guy speaking english is subtitled in english, and that the subtitles don't match what he is actually saying. It's pretty distracting. Otherwise I dig it.
