I knew this song and the rest of her music before I knew what she did on the X Factor, and honestly while what she did was terrible, this song has helped me out so much over the past several years getting through my personal issues. It's a raw and open song, and the fact that people can't appreciate the music and have to attack the artist really saddens me, because this is really a phenomenal song.

A lot of people in the comments are comparing Natalia’s criticism with Simon Cowell’s. Simon, at worst, tells people that they’re terrible. Natalia absolutely went in and told a kid he was disgusting because “he was trying to copy her husband” who had slicked back hair and a suit. As if Willy Moon invented the look? This whole album is classic and poetic. It’s such a shame that her outburst on tv was social suicide because I feel that she is a true talent. She’s a great storyteller in her music.

I grew up with her music.It's so funny how people constantly say stuff like "everything shown on tv is acting" and when the acting really happens, lo and behold, they'll throw anyone and anything under the bus and constantly run over it back and forth. I like this song and I think she tells her story quite well through this song.. Natalia's lyrics are a fascinating combination of darkness, youthfulness and raw candor that others cannot easily replicate. Unlike with other "pop stars" who only claim to have significant creative input in the writing of their songs, you cannot deny Natalia's presence when you look at her lyrics. And that's why I and many others hope she doesn't give up on her craft. Wishing her all the best in her band, or even as a songwriter for other singers. Even better if she can return as a solo act, perhaps as an indie critic's darling.

Used to be fine with her but lost all respect for Natalia when I was part of the live audience of the New Zealand X Factor auditions that she judges for. She swore at the audience telling then to shut the fuck up- causing parents to complain that their kids were there as the X Factor is a g rated show. She also laughed at one boy who was bullied for his sexuality when he sung Fancy (well, actually) and she claimed he shouldn't be singing a song like that and that he was "just some loser on the show for RU-vid hits". Just had to get this off my chest, as she is not a good role model at all- which, New Zealand is very awake of now since there was massive backlash.👎

Natalia Kills, Kerli Kiov, and Christina Aguilera’s Bionic era were sacrificed so that Lady Gaga could succeed. Natalia had so much potential, her album Trouble was pop perfection with lyrics that we should hear more often in pop music... but unfortunately she was just overshadowed, and the little attention she got was mostly comparisons to Lady Gaga (and of course, Natalia was deemed the “copycat”)... her NZ X-Factor incident reminded me very much of “Gretchen Wieners... had cracked.” She finally had enough of the unfairness of the music industry and just cracked at the wrong place and the wrong time, took it out on some poor innocent contestant who had nothing to do with anything, and she destroyed her image. Such a shame. I think the only similar artist who’s come since then is Tove Lo, but unfortunately Tove Lo’s mainstream popularity was also pretty short-lived. Her music was too dark and blunt for the mainstream crowd, but she was also too mainstream for some of the underground crowds to take her seriously.

One woman they told her to perform a pink song then told her she should've sang a different song after she had already sang.
I feel so glad Natalia is one of those artists I discovered this year and secretly hope she doesn't go mainstream but hope more people can know how awesome she is.
