Had to come watch this after watching Roberto Bolle and Polina Semionova perform this. So glad I did! Watching the latter is like watching technically perfect, robotic models dancing. This, is how it should be danced. Raw anger, desperation, and hate, but also need, comfort and passion. I felt the fire in both Natalia and Ivan!!
I totally agree with you. In spanish we say that where there was fire, there will always be ashes left... I think chemistry between those two geniouses will always be there and they are amazing together. They are amazing individually and with other partners, however, as we can all see here, Vasiliev and Osipova together make fireworks onstage.

Belíssima coreografia. Natalia e Ivan formam uma dupla consagrada de bailarinos magníficos. Natalia, além de ser uma bailarina de extrema técnica, possui também uma grande força cênica, o que lhe credencia a interpretar com perfeição papéis dramáticos tanto no repertório do ballet clássico como no contemporâneo, onde ela já deu demonstração de notáveis performances. BRAVO !!!

@@jannashangarieva3655 Абсолютно солидарна, много раз уже это мнение сама высказывала. Они не танцуют, они проживают все эмоции вместе. Сейчас другая образовавшаяся пара - вроде отлично сложены, вроде оба красивые, НО нет души, нет нерва....КОгда есть любовь, НО отсутствует при этом страсть, это просто танец, когда есть еще и страсть, то танец живой.
@@PhoenixSV Я очень часто любуюсь ее танцем, на Васильва как-то ходила. БЫл сборный концерт артистов балета со всего мира, НО Ивана Васильева поставили последним, чтобы все досидели до конца)). И он никого не разочаровал. НО в их паре , она ему ничуть не уступала, класс танца у нее невероятно высок. просто ювелирная работа ногами, руками, шеей и головой, тут все это завернуто в упаковку из души.
@@PhoenixSV Я многих из них не знаю, знаю Сомову и Захарову, Вишневу еще, НО Наталья - чудо. А в "Пламя Парижа" - как она станцевала, и этот потрясающий костюм, ей очень идет, а БАядерка" - каждый шажок выверен, она ступает по сцене, как будто бежит босыми ножками по мокрой от росы траве, почему-то ассоциации с Галиной Беляевой в фильме "Мой ласковый и нежный зверь". Этому не учат, с этим рождаются.

Penetratingly intense. Just what it takes to express the insanity called "sexual attraction", from its heavenly highs to its hellish, hurtful lows? I'd say the choreographer and, of course, Osipova i Vasiliev, did splendid job of figuring that out.
It’s such a shame they couldn’t keep dancing together after their breakup….neither of them have nearly been so successful with other dance partners, and because of that they lost the chance to be really legendary. That kind of elevated status-like Maximova and Vasiliev-requires longevity. Watching them dance so incredibly here is really poignant.
