Each year, during the autumn time, we sing this song in my small choir (not the French part) I love jazz, so I like to show it to you. From this video on I use a new laptop for uploading.
Don't hear music like that anymore. Just BEAUTIFUL!!! SHE'S MISSED BY ALL WHO LOVED HER AND HER ANGELIC VOICE OF HERS. 😇😍👄💫❤ And her Father...The LATE GREAT... " NAT KING COLE ". When I was very young listening Too,.. "Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire" 🎅🏾🎅🏾🎅🏾 Every Christmas In My Family Home. I Mean Every Christmas! I Miss Them Both... Perhaps they're in "Heaven" singing away😇😇😇. That's my good thought of them... Rest In God.
Ohh, she was talented. I miss her and Mr. Cole. As a boomer born in the 40's I remember at 8yrs old watching his TV show with my family. We were in awe of his accomplishments. He had to stop because of the threats to him and his family. Those were brutal times........
Not a lot viewers, not enough likes… I’m belarussian and I grew up in my music academy by Nat King Cole, I live in the US now and happy from a bottom of my heart… this song makes me more happy than I am. And wish it was family next to me, Christmas and New Year. Thank you very much for this video.
The falling leaves drift by the window The autumn leaves of red and gold I see your lips, the summer kisses The sun-burned hands I used to hold Since you went away the days grow long And soon I'll hear old winter's song But I miss you most of all my darling When autumn leaves start to fall Since you went away the days grow long And soon I'll hear old winter's song But I miss you most of all my darling When autumn leaves start to fall
A question to Americans I’ve been living in the US for 5 years… But I have Russian accent… but I want to sing these songs for you from a bottom of my heart… So… Will you judge me for the accent? Or not?
Every bit as natural as HER father. Nat was an exceptional and highly influential pianist and an iconic singer but in my opinion Natalie was at very least his equal as a singer. Nat was more more original and had a beautiful quality of voice but Natalie sang with equal emotion and was technically superior.
I can understand it is subjective but personally I wouldn't go to the effort of posting negative comments on such a personal taste issue when the standard of performance is on this level. There us so much poor quality stuff out there that probably could be negatively commented on. Even then I'm never that comfortable being critical of artists dispite many years as a musician working in jazz and other forms. Personally I thought this was a beautiful and thoughtful rendition demonstrating Natalie's command of time.
