Natalie Cole sings "Midnight Sun" as part of a tribute to the great Ella Fitzgerald called "We Love Ella". The show was taped on April 29th, 2007 at the University of Southern California's Galen Center and was co-hosted by Natalie and Quincy Jones.

ms. cole has eyes that gaze at u like a beautiful summer sunset...dont u agree, andher voicesmooth as satin....a tour de force performance my fellow utubers...sweetdaddy recommends this real vocalist and her music!!!!

It's ironic that all these divas are saluting the First Lady of Song -- Ella Fitzgerald -- by singing 'Midnight Sun,' yet no one has uploaded her version -- which is beyond music -- a spiritual experience to hear. The only recording I know of is on the CD: "Ella in Rome - the Birthday Concert" captured live April 25, 1958... My thanks to all who love this song and ANYONE who sings it!
