Let Peace Begin With Me • "Let There Be Peace on...
pass this inspirational performance on, we need this now more than ever!!
Welcome! These musical clips are from a large video collection that is now being converted from VHS/Beta to digital. There is some viewing quality loss from the original video source due to the age of the tapes, but the performances are preserved and still a joy to view. I'm finding many lost performances from vintage R&B, Soul, Pop, Broadway, Cabaret and other performances. This channel will be the Ed Sullivan channel for the digital generation, something for everyone to enjoy. Many of the performances will be seen for the first time since they were originally televised. I will be adding many musical performances from a variety of sources that I hope you will enjoy. Please hit the like button if you can.

Her father Nat King Cole died in 1965. This was ten years after that in 1975 at the start of her career with the album Inseparable. She went on to have a 40-year career. Winning 9 Grammy Awards and having 21 Grammy nominations along with multiple other Awards and accolades.

Girl, my babysitter's daughters & other girl neighbors set on her back porch "auditioning" into a hairbrush. I was in preschool and I remember it vividly.

Wish music would return to true artists....presenting their gift without pyrotechnics, backup dancers.....just the gift of song.

I was watching Johnny a lot starting in 1974-75 and fell in love with Natalie and bought her cassette the next day! It also proved to me how great the Tonight Show band was. Thanks for the post!

I was 10 years old when I first heard her voice and fell in love with her in 1975. Rolled with her until her last days of 2015. God blessed us all with an incredible talent, annoited voice and a messenger of faith in the Most High through her walk in life. She taught by living example. Her music was a healer to all life’s trials and tribulations. Unforgettable and Everlasting until my end of time

Natalie's voice was unique, powerful and yet soothing. It sounded effortless even as she belted out the high notes. I remember hearing her in 1975 as well and instantly loving her voice. I could listen to her all day long, same as her father. They were too extremely gifted people.

Go Natalie go, so much class, grace and elegnance Natalie rightfully deserves and owns her place to be Rock n Roll Hall of Fame inductee as her iconic father NatKingCole is. She was major influence for female music vocal artists esp Black female music vocalist artists

Johnny Carson looks so proud presenting Natalie Cole because he probably New her growing up as the daughter of Nat King Cole. He probably had to give a lot of celebrities children a break. And he was happy to have one of her actually had Talent. He was being in like a proud father. Especially since he knew how talented Nat King Cole was. He was like please Daddy don't mess this up. LOL

To name Destiny child and Natalie Cole at the same time is almost a joke. Natalie was a star and could sing without getting half naked and a bunch of technology. Natalie was pure talent. Period!
