OMG she is stunningly beautiful! She is the absolute most perfect example of a female human being I have ever seen in my entire life. And, my overstatement/exaggeration is intentional, designed to convey how strongly I stand behind those words. At all risk of looking ridiculous, sounding, "stupid," and seeming, "ludicrous," at all risk of eternal embarrassment, I would stand atop the highest mountain and shout it at the top of my voice how much I absolutely ADORE Natalie Portman. She is in a class ALL her own on this Planet. 💘
I went looking for this exact clip of her talking about the benefits of being small in a crowd. I totally remembered that she wore a band tee and alas in this clip she did talk about being small and inconspicuous !
Weird comment maybe, but what I really like is that back in the day she just came in T-Shirt and jeans. I like that. I feel that is basically impossible nowadays. :/ Could it be they were more relaxed in the 2000ers? or late 90s? - Every woman on a talk show appears in dress nowadays, even the laid-back ones, where one would bet they'd normally have this 2003-Natalie-Portman vibe here... :-/
This is what an actual funny interview looks like. I was watching the ones with her and David Letterman and he is always creepy as hell, even on the ones where she is young. Super gross.
Do you notice the difference... listen to how irreverent and condescending they are toward a lot of things. This conversation would never fly today... People could actually just say what they felt back then. No one went out of their way to bash anyone... but if someone felt sketch about something, they could just say it. It’s also interesting how Portman was able to talk about her disinterest in Star Wars stuff with so much freedom. Studios tightly manage that kind of thing nowadays.
Lol, whatever. I see people gassed up on rosy retrospection & declinism on every old youtube video. honestly, stop complaining about the present and just live in it. it's not that bad, and people will say the same thing you're saying about *now* ten years from now.
I've been watching those old intvs too.. and I tho a lot of Letterman's remarks were shady to her over the yrs (like wtf?) ..but I can't help but notice she dressed up or dressed risquely for Letterman almost every time once she was older. And she kept going back, for literally decades. So I guess she didn't seem to mind him
@@hunterm9 I think she could have avoided his show if she wanted. Plenty of others out there to appear on. Also she could have dressed down more as I said..
Strange all of a sudden these few days we are all getting these old interviews showing up in recommendations. Is she releasing a film now or something?
Okay, number one we don't know that the shirt was actually bought them. Number two, we don't know whether her mother bought a bigger size anticipating that she was going to grow. Let's use our thinking caps here.

Back When StarWars was comparable to "Lord Of The Rings" or "Indiana Jones",... Now (since Disney acquired it), it seems more like generic marvel films,.. it's sad. I miss the legendary way SW used to be regarded.
OP is tripping. Marvel & Star Wars > Indiana Jones, imo. Especially considering Indiana Jones got a bad 4th entry as well. Indie is cool but Star Wars always will be bigger, and Marvel's Infinity War was good enough to put it on par with Indie for me
@@firstnamelastname364 i didnt watch much star wars so idk. indiana jones is pretty old so it makes sense it doesnt match up to marvel movies but tbh marvel if you take out the special effects isnt really impressive, at least if you add lord of the rings to that comparrison it would go the other way around
Well by the sounds of this interview I guess I won’t ever be meeting Natalie Portman at a comic con lol. She’ll be the Harrison Ford of the prequel’s when it comes to that.
