I love how she instantly improved naturally when she put the lyrics down!!!! She starts singing it from the heart! So cute! I love her voice. She is a natural!!!!
I’m so grateful Natalie gives us so much teaching content completely free, I feel like my voice has improved SO MUCH just by watching her coach others, I can hear her in my head when I’m singing and correct myself! She’s one of a kind!

I have a good friend that when I talk down about myself she says “don’t talk that way about my friend” I want to shake Jules and tell her to stop talking bad about our friend Jules. She is beautifully talented and a funny fun gal! Progress is not linear, be patient with your self!
I watched this before work this morning and this song has been stuck in my head all day ♥️ the "grace note problem" and the timing of the last "we can do better than that" are all from the Anna Kendrick version bc the way she sang both the first time were v familiar to me and I've only ever heard her sing it before

what i see is a singer struggling to tackle a genre and song she is uncomfortable and insecure with and a coach who is doing a great job being supportive and helping her work through this roadblock 🤷♀️ doesnt seem like anyone is wasting their time
Absolutely not. Natalie is giving very specific style direction. Learning new styles is so important when you want to sing professionally. Jules seems like a perfectionist who hates not getting it on the first try, guess what, i’m the same with my teacher.
