I think Nate's turn back is gonna be quicker than we thought. He's already realized that what he said to Ted was hurtful and that Rupert is not a good person. Regardless of his low emotional intelligence, he definitely can tell he feels better about himself around Ted than with Rupert. And he is far more interested in the more down to earth (if aloof) hostess vs the vapid model.
Previous episode showed Nate slowing turning away from his self loathing that he's been feeling, with his seeing how his dad was with their mom before, with how, rather than spitting at himself in the mirror when he went to ask Jade out, he instead made her the sweet box and when that was destroyed, he kept his confidence and it helped him.
I think he thought she was just being nice eating with him. I’m the same way. I overthink things so much and don’t ever want to assume someone is interested just because they were kind to me.
Question for nati ve English speakers. Does the actress who plays Jade (Edyta Budnik) an audible slight Polish/Slavic accent? (I can't hear any). At one point, her character is supposed to go away for the weekend to visit her family in Poland so I though that might have been the back story to explain it.
I really don’t want him to have a redeeming arc, what he did was awful. Jamie’s arc was spectacular over half a season, but what he did wasn’t worse than what Nate did. If season three is the last, it’s just too late for Nate.
Why in the hell would he keep insisting upon this restaurant when his date obviously was not feeling it. She wants to go out on the town and have fun so do that with her! She’s a freakin model for god sake. And, after she leaves, why’s he just sitting there??? He could also just have taken it to go.
You obviously haven’t watched enough of the show to understand what this place means to him. His date didn’t have the decency to recognize it’s importance and he dodged a bullet with her. Jade is a much better fit
You can’t be serious. Lol. If a girl took me on a date to a restaurant that had sentimental value to her, I would want to learn everything I could about why she loved it. It’s called showing interest in them and actually getting to know them. This is why you hardly see people in successful relationships now. Everyone wants glitz and glamour instead of authenticity. And social media and technology have made it worse.
@@mccarraa I have no doubt that the writers will end up having him come back to Richmond to redeem himself and the team. And they will probably find a way to make me totally buy into it. But not now... 😡
