Comedian Nate Bargatze has travelled to Australia from the U.S. for the first time, and he tells why he's been shocked by everyone having Aussie accents.
I watch an unhealthy amount of standup. I don’t seek out “clean” comedians, I watch them all. Nate isn’t one of the best “clean” comics. He’s one of the best working comics, period. And that he seems like such a genuine and nice human on top of it is just a bonus. Love his stuff
Dave Coulier is another clean comedian. He did stand up at my college, and was hilarious. It's nice to watch standup in the same room as my young kids without having to worry about cussing every 5 minutes.
I just found this guy , Nate, a few days ago and I can't get enough of his awesome comedy. He puts me in the best mood ever I only wish I had heard of him during COVID. He's SO FUNNY 😂😂😂
What’s remarkable to me about Nate Bargatze is he displays many of the tropes that would usually make me think the worst of other Americans and yet he does it with such an innocence and enthusiasm that I find it utterly charming.
@@dcnats92 exactly right. The American who travels to a new country and has their first meal at McDonalds is the kind of behaviour that would grate in normal circumstances but he does it with a charm and innocence that makes it inoffensive and funny.
Nate Bargatze has become my favorite comedian. I love his delivery. And I grew up with the likes of Red Foxx, Richard Pryor, Don Rickles, Eddie Murphy. Etc
Go Nate!! He has come a long way and was underground for a long time. He is finally getting recognition for all his hard work. Check out his 1st stand-up comedy albums like "Full-time Magic" and "Yelled at by a Clown".
I'm an American that was fortunate enough to live in Townsville for about a year in 2005. Loved living there. The food was just great everywhere. So were the people. I wish it was not so far away from the US.
Most foul mouthed comics seem lazy to me. I do enjoy a blue joke IF it is funny but it is not that common. Nate is one of a kind talent. That he seems genuinely nice is the cherry on top.
Nate is great! Great Nate! Aussie interviews mostly consist of soooo what do you think of us, are we one of the cool kids how do we compare, please tell us we are ok!
Australians are so friendly compared to Americans. They do party hardy! I went with a group and left the bar at 6:00 AM! I couldn't believe the bars stay open that late! Went to an apartment, and I fell asleep around 8:00 am. Woke up a couple of hours later, and they were still going! 😯 The thing I found to be funny was not the Australian accents, it was the Chinese immigrants with Chinese accents mixed WITH Australian accents! 😄
And your a daughter Dad too.😊😊Wow! You are the kit, cat & kaboodle! Lucky girl! You guys have So much fun! This probably was last year…right? Ima go take a nap.😂😂
I hope the World know there is a Lot more of us Nate’s in America than those fancy know and done everything fellers, must of us are just trying to make it, we don’t hate anybody or think we’re better than anyone else and we just get up every morning and try more times than not we fail, but we go out again and again and again.
When they showed surprise about Nate's father being a clown, my first thought was "have they seen a single show?" "does Australia get Netflix or RU-vid?" "what's happening right now?". If you get a one sentence briefing about who you are interviewing it would be "Nate is a American comedian and his father use to be a clown".
@@violentzeh At 1:20 he talks about how at home he's only used to hearing one australian accent at a time and implies that it's overwhelming to be surrounded by so many at once
