Funimation doesn't stream parasyte... Funimation doesn't create anime they stream it. And not all anime goes to funimation. Also no about the opening. How would you feel if you created something that you wanted and that you thought was perfect and some people from a different country changed that?

Beach Salt They did that with pokemon, and changing the theme song is very common for lots of shows translated into a different language. Anime in Italy for example has lots of really good theme songs, different from the Japanese original.

Core Brute When did Funimation dub Pokemon? I know for roughly eight years it was Four Kids but following that Pokemon USA got the rights to dub the show in English. Since then, the company became The Pokemon Company International and I'm pretty sure they have exclusive dubbing and producing rights on the dub. But to answer the first question posed in this chain, Funimation as a company leaves the theme songs intact.

I’ve listened to this song on a regular basis for YEARS and I thought it was an original piece I just found out it’s a song based off of parasyte (good anime/manga series) Still doesn’t change how I feel about the song

Nate, you are nothing short of a musical genius! Everytime I hear one of your songs, I am impressed beyond words. You are an incredible songwriter and musician. Please continue creating the things you love, because I can guarentee that no matter what it is, everyone will love it! Have you seen Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni, Shiki, or Another? All of those anime have some great song potential if you are looking for some more horror genre anime! It's great. You could compare it to Tokyo Ghoul with its psycological theme and gore. And the fact that the MC became something not accepted in his usual society

Eh, I never really got into it, it's okay. The problem with most the psychological anime I've seen is that the characters aren't very interesting. The Protagonist is scared of everything that shows up, the emotionless character, and some others without much behind them at all.
