I just built a hapatra deck and I'm not sure it's going to be like that, but it definitely seems really fun regardless lol I found this commander because I built a mutate infect deck, an didn't really care for it. I actually liked the -1-1 counters infect brought, an so I looked up commanders that could do something like that. I found hapatra, and she is my queen
The decklist for Nath does not match the cards in the video. Words of waste is not in the list, neither is the waste not mentioned in the harbinger trigger.
I'm sorry, I hyperderped on the list. I made it for someone before the video and then decided on some calls (like how I had some ways to abuse and get multiple Words of Waste triggers in a single turn) but forgot to update it on the list. The list has been updated. There was also some LGS-specific nonsense that I cleared up.
At 9:40 we try to explain that. Luís pays 1 life to activate Yawgmoth. Since he is sacrificing a creature to pay for Yawgmoth's cost he is triggering Blood Artist draining 1 from an opponent. Staying with the same amount of life. Although, when a creature an opponent controls dies during this process it triggers Blood Artist one additional time, making him go positive.
Baal mulliganed to 5 already and couldn't have a fast animar. So he was relying on Sylvan Library's draws to "grind" the game, although this list is really not good for grinding/staxy games, so he couldn't do much.
