I’m kind of happy that they didn’t show the seizure cause usually if that’s shown it’s portrayed completely wrong and like a fish on land instead of the whole body clenching up…also: never ever ever put something in a person’s mouth when they have a seizure, that’s an other bs myth often used in media! So: good representation here.
But.…that’s how they're tho. That's how my mom would describe her’s when she was younger. I've also seen live seizers from house cams. Maybe do more research?
From what I understand, I’m not doctor, so please correct me if I’m wrong, but I think there’s different kinds of seizures, so yes someone may have a seizure but it affects each person differently.
This clip genuinely made me watch the show. Decided to watch it, really enjoyed it and loved seeing disability representation, and decided to watch. Loved it, especially Nathan's storyline ❤️🥰
It so scary especially if you don’t know about this illness I know how this scene is terrifying because I am a seizure patient myself when my at 4 years old parents didn’t know I had Elispey but over the years and the help of my doctors they being educated about it
My little brother has Epilepsy, but not the one that gives you seizures. he has also Autism so he has hard time understanding the difference between the different kinds of Epilepsy there is.
thats what epilepsy is ?? its a neurological disorder that causes seizures ? (idk i might be thinking of something else, im not a professional, im just guessing based on what ive heard)
@@illbeokay45sos It is characterised by seizures, maybe they mean absent or (aware) focal seizures where the person seems out of it and spaced out and sometimes can't move, but is still aware of their surroundings rather than shaking and fitting in the stereotypical seizure way in say a grand mal seizure. So they don't think of it as a seizure or they mean the other way round seizures but not epilepsy. Idk you can have seizures with out epilepsy but not the other way round. so to have epilepsy you have seizures even if subtle
I can definitely sympathize with him because I have had seizures for 36 years and had to get 4 staples in TBE back of my head because of a grand mal seizure
I don’t like choosing sides but yeah he wiped that smirk off his face quickly with that one !! He was like “Dude, stop thinking you’re such an IT boy !!” 💯💯
