He is just so put together… skating, style, athleticism, humility, musicality, skill, spunk, personality, even his wild hair…knowing his character and his background and family and years of effort is what makes his performances so fun to watch.
haha I was a bit tired at the end of the ice show, cuz the snowstorm and massive cancellation of flights made me sleep for 3 hours on average on those days before going to Vail. Will do better next time :)
His hip injury happened when he's doing quads in exhibitions after US Championship in 2016, and it ended up becoming a nagging injury till now, he should not do that again.
How about he’s already risked and suffered enough for his sport and his art, and he pushed through pain and injuries and intense training to bring the gold home for his country, and now he can share his gift without putting his body at risk for some freaking ice shows. Be grateful he’s still willing to skate.
@@Laura22_newAmen! I can’t imagine how much his body prob hurts just doing regular day to day activities. I want to see him skate too, but just for the joy of watching his style and oneness with the ice, not for him to take chances on getting further hurt in any way. I mean, backflips on ice are prob not super easy or just for the body either. We take what he can offer. 💁🏻♀️Also, thank goodness for the plethora of videos of the heyday!
@@Laura22_new yes. I miss his magic as anyone else, but the last thing I want is for him to bring home another injury. I'm so happy I could watch these little videos, a part of me fears he'll more or less stop skating altogether to pursue his academic life, and if he does that, I'll respect it very much. I just miss him, I think that's comprehensible... I wish him the greatest happiness, but I also understand people missing him. There's only one of him.
