Some of the things I love about this are: 1. The other bandmates encouraging him to apologize 2. The genuine emotion in his voice when he manages to say he’s sorry 3. The smiles on their faces when he admits he wants Dethklok back
one of the best lines in Metalocalypse ever... "What's wrong with him?" "He ams tryings..." "...to apogisex" That fucking caught me so off guard when I watched the episode I had to pause it for 10 minutes or more just contain myself.

even though this show is supposed to be funny this is a scene where brendon smalls made this scence real heartfelt , the most emotionally brutal thing ever
I see now the difference between this apology and the ones before is that this one shows Nathan's true emotion. The other ones he can say it without any problem or just to himself. This apology shows that Nathan put aside his ego, women and fame just so he could have his friend back. He even sounded different! It's the most brutal and heartfelt apology ever. This show has made me laugh and now feel my heartstrings being tugged.
Seaside Strangler It’s better to end a show in the prime of its airing and send it off to the sunset than let it be long-running, running out of ideas, and steadily decay into a franchise zombie (i.e. Family Guy, Fairly Oddparents, The Simpsons, etc.)

I enjoy how he puked blood yet no one reacted or thought that was unhealthy. Just cause it's this show and that isn't the first time Nathan has puked blood.
The way the rest of the band is trying to cheer him on when they realize he’s trying to apologize is so sweet like “Come on man we know you can do it!”
Brendon Small really has that classic Cartoon Network animator quality of doing his own, weird, cool thing but injecting a lot of heart where it really counts.

Nathan needs to embrace his apparently high vocal range more. I know it's his nature to only use his super death metal-y voice but I'd honestly love to see him occasionally break out into his higher screaming register on a new album.
It's crazy, watching the show and laughing at all the stupidity the guys show with their giant egos (although to be fair anyone would have an ego that big if they were as badass as they are) and then there's this scene where Nathan just kinda doesn't care about it. He doesn't care about the women or the fame or anything, he just wants his friend back, for everything to be like it once was, and it's just like... you know. Guess what I'm trying to say is, WHY MUST THIS SCENE BE SO FEELY!?
What the fuck kind of point are you even trying to make? This scene is amazing, and is both funny yet sincere. It took him forever to apologize. The fact even his attempt to apologize makes him vomit blood is hilarity. But when he finally does it's great. There is nothing more beautiful than forgiveness, ie catharsis.

Its because the most brutal and metal thing anyone can do is face their true self and confront their demons (in this moment it was nathan fucking up the band and losing his friend)
I think this is genuinely one of the most heartfelt apologies I've ever witnessed in my life so far because of the intensity of it but even more so because you can tell that Nathan is fighting against all of his own pent up emotions because he isn't usually the type to openly express himself in such a manner unless it's something like anger for example. He fought hard to keep from repressing what he was really thinking and feeling just to give a proper apology. That effort alone is beautiful.
If Brendon Small had to pick a name for the song starting at 2:15, it should be called “Apology Song” Reason: it was only used twice in the whole series. 1. In the final episode of Season 3 when they all run away and Charles finds them and apologizes. 2. In this video of the final episode of Season 4.
I love how in the first time in the show that he's willing to let his guard down publicly and show that he cares genuinely, he *has* to say he "doesn't care." This scene was fantastic. Also, pretty sure Nathan needs another liver transplant.
Damn straight the most brutal and hardcore metal emotion is love for sure cause you put yourself up for examination and you don't know how it's going to go they can either love you back or gut you like a fuckin catfish it's a 50/50 shot and I genuinely can't think of anything more brutal than anticipating the unknown
I love this moment inside and out. I just think of what Pickles must have felt in that moment. Finally hearing those words from someone you thought would never say them. It’s gotta feel so good to hear how much your friend cares about you.
The difference here is that Nathan actually gives a crap when he's apologizing. With Murderface, he didn't truly care from the bottom of his heart, and he didn't have to set aside his ego or anything for that apology.

This is the most brutal, wicked scene. Its got so much power. They all want to be a family, and they wanted one thing. Then brutal death to cap it all.
I hated how my era didn’t show that much of this show and i wish i grew up watching this show and if i never knew the show i wouldn’t be in love with rock and metal music even trying to get a guitar 🤘🏻🩸

It’s sad to say I think I was the glue in my friend group and when I alienated myself after high school I broke the bond that held us :...( I really need to reconnect with my boys.
To be fair, apologising is sometimes the worst stategy possible. You have people that would reject it instantly and push their advantage on the issue that now stands unguarded, as even the perpetrator no longer supports it.
