Just a Touch's broodmare sire is Tapit who is known more for imparting stamina than speed. However, Tapit's son Frosted was the opposite and set a record for the Met Mile. Frosted challenged American Pharoah in the Travers and it was the way he softened up AP that got AP beat by Keen Ice, IMO. Anyway, Just a Touch should do very well at longer distances, unlike Frosted. It is unfortunate for him that the Belmont will be at Saratoga and he won't get the chance to try the usual mile and a half because it will be run at 1 1/2 instead. Still, I would not leave him out of the superfecta and he might even make the third place show spot.
