A compilation video of the Nathan AirChime P5 horn found on some locomotives. Videos taken between 2014 and 2016 and include power from various railroads including Norfolk Southern, Canadian National and CaterParrott RailNet.
Awesome video. The new cast Nathan P5's can still be heard in Australia especially in the state of New South Wales. Many of the first turbo charged loco's have got them as well as the surviving 2nd generation diesels.
Help me out here, I'm used to seeing container cars always being the very low height or profile. What is with these ones with the raised frame on the ends. What are they for?
NS seems to like the P5- a lot- as a replacement horn.Don't know why, they just do. They seem to put them on everything, much to the dismay of Conrail fans.
