Ooh I've been waiting for you to do this one! Edit: Loved your reaction! Your reactions bring me joy. I really need that today so I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Just found this channel. I appreciate your content bro. You and pretty much only one other reactor really hit deep with the message and breakdown. Im gladd you show that you care about people too. No joke, me and a friend just went to see NF in St. Louis last night for his clouds tour, first stop!!! Was absolutely crazy
You do a good job reacting to NF and I think I've almost watched them all but haven't seen Let you down. Let you down is super deep and gives you an understanding of his relationship with his dad. His dad was an alcoholic and I'm n another song we he says nervous around etoxicates people he's talk ok g about his dad. When he's in mansion talk ok ng about abuse it's his dad as well. Also this song already mentions how he's going to make the album clouds. Also I'm n No name he talks about he'll get back to fame when he makes ablum 4 and then in leave me alone which is in ablum 4 fame calls again. There is so much in his lyrics and songs and ablums all intertwine with each other. Keep up the good work and follow those dreams!
Sum u said in the middle of the song reminded me of a line that another rapper I listen to said. He said "Tryna jump ship when you see a nigga winning But where the fuck was you when I was slamming on McChickens"
MMLP2-Bad Guy is a masterpiece. Although after Eminem dissed him on The Ringer who knows. “An effin” recovery clone version of me.” An (N) eff(F)…” Nate doesn’t swear. Recovery is when Eminem got clean from drugs. He’s the clean version of Eminem. He also said effin and didn’t swear on purpose. Many debate it. But we all know. Marshall don’t mince words.
I love you dug this immediately.. i must just have a diff ear bc i initially found it so strange.. offputting.. but i heard a few rappers who were hard critics really give this track praise for its complexity.. now i love it bc i can understand why tonally this is amazing.. then the actual lyrics on top which Nate can never fail. He really made a Statement. Man of very simple, to the point, titles. Theres some lore behind the drake line im sure someone will know and explain better than me.. bc that line about “how you run it round here...” right before the drake line, is supposedly taking a mini bite off a drake line.. i could be off on this bc Nate is never taking shots at specific people.. but hes had a few songs now that all have a one line crapping on “the industry”.. but could also refer to Drake. Not sure if youve done Warm Up.. i dont think so, but it should be on the list. Two of his singles, Warm Up and No Name, were done between albums.. Warm Up specifically even saying “this ones for the fans”.. and it has a brautiful “intro1” vibe where its just him in a simple spot just living his words. Same as NoName, which is a really really special song showcasing his flow switch ability and complex rhyme scheming.. but back to Drake, in Warm Up he has a shot at the industry saying “he writes raps, you steal yours”.. something weve heard him say something similar in All I Have.. i dont know.. it feels Nate is really bothered by ghost writers bc clearly, its against being “Real”, #nfREALmusic loved seeing you really enjoy this.. and btw, the whole Eminem thing.. theres def few bad eggs who dont care about the similarity context and get really defensive. But just like you said, Nate himself is praising Em here, so its a fair point. Ive noticed fans not liking the similary reference in context of “copying him”.. but its ok to do in reference of his rapping ability growing fast “like eminem”.. which was how you said it here by saying you could hear the Em vibe.. bc thats complimentary, imo, bc we know Em was his inspiration. So i know i take it as a praise bc its a reference to Nates ability to be on the road to match with one of the best MCs on top. I felt i needed to say that bc i hate seeing you get worried abt upsetting the fans when you clearly arent doing it in bad faith. If any fan gives you crap for this.. its a few bad eggs. Most of us understand the context you say it in bc youre loving the Journey, not hating on it. Youre doing fantastic, my dude. ❤️❤️
NF is definitely his own person, but anyone who tries to act like he doesn't get inspiration from Em is just lyin. He admitted it himself that Em was a big inspiration, and he basically said it in this song saying he grew up on Em lmao. Oh and if you liked this one you're gonna love Returns lol.
i dunno , paying homage to Em and sounding like Em isnt really the same thing, i just want someone to point out to me an NF song and an Em song that sound so similar, so i can hear what you guys are hearing, cause to me, all it sounds like is "Em is white, NF is white, they the same" when these reactors (not necessarily meaning you) say he sounds like Em. I hear the influence, but people say he sounds like Em, and i just dont hear it.
@@christopherchandler2860 there is flow in Returns that sounds like Em's kamikaze album not all NF stuff sounds like Em... but the talent is in the same ballpark as Em
People be getting rowdy about comparing him to Eminem because Eminem called him out and called him a clone. Nf's clearly not but Eminem seems to think he is
Im not so sure abt homage to drake... theres def lore behind them.. before nate blew up to thegeneral public and created “When I Grow Up”.. theres been some talk first about Nate biting off a Drake music video (i dont listen to drake so no clue what music video) in the garbage man part being eerily similar shot.. but then it was evident Nates video had come out quite a bit before the Drake video.. just wasnt noticed bc how underground Nate was at the time.. then theres a few other shots that seem general.. but alluding directly to having a ghostwriter “i write raps, you steal yours” -WarmUp and few other songs its also been speculated.. so not so sure.. bc it does make sense. Drake having a ghostwriter for some songs must feel blasphemous to Nate and the concept of being real. So.. donoo
@@HaraQuinn it is most certainly homage to drake lol that was drakes line and he said drake lol He also follows Drake on IG and twitter and barely follows anyone on socials. He likes drake a lot
Dont spread fake news. He said an ffing copy (dont know it exactly but the an ffing is correct)... he didnt name him directly it leaves room for interpretation and isnt confirmed to mean nf.
@@avocadoodnt no need to get riled up man. But I can't think of any reason em would refrain from saying fuck if he didn't have a reason. NFing seems pretty straight forward to me.
@@tannerallen8206 yes i totally agree and its a reason i disrespect eminem of sought he is an incredible lyricist something like this doesnt happen randomly but as long as there is no written word blaming nf in an eminem song, saying so would just be starting unnecesairy drame something we have engough of
Fun fact, Eminem being an extremely direct person using words properly, never dissed NF. Had he said “wannabe, copy, in my shadow (as he did MGK)” id find bad intention in it. Clone, by defintiom, which im sure Dictionary Marshall is very aware of, means a literal same person. Not a copy. It means sharing the same blood. Literally, by definition, a clone is your exact twin.. same chromosomes, blood, and in this case.. he’d be praising NF with a nod considering he didnt flip nate on his head by saying something like “an NFing clone of me, unable to even describe the little btch pssy he is” for example. If em wanted to diss NF, he would never leave it up for interpretation. Hes pretty direct. So by first saying “clone” then stopping at NFing.. not tearing him down.. i think em only did it as a nod of acknowledgement to him. Esp bc Shady45 is playing the Clouds Mixtape.. his daughter and brother both follow nate on twitter and IG.. and ems official twitter (company twitter, not personal) also follows him on twitter. I highly doubt theres any bad blood on Ems side. Which is why Nate doesnt even bother with it.
@@HaraQuinn oh for sure I think you are spot on with that! He wasn't called out in the song for copying him but for doing what he did when when Em was that age. I think it was an acknowledgment of talent.
