22:00 they could definitely deal you 18 damage in one turn. Attack all, you block captain and take the rest which is 6, then they double club you for 6 each with the two flamesmiths out.

Passing on those warbeasts 12:32 & 13:56 - mistake. With all that amass, your orcs will be 4/4 most of the time and when they die you just get a 2/2 orc army to replace them. Heaven forbid you get two warbeasts on the board, then the 4/4 or larger orc army just replaces itself each time it dies. Totally nuts

Oath seems too slow for the format IMO, it seemed strong in the beginning but skipping your turn 4 is too punishing against some of the faster decks.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm not enjoying this format. If it didn't have the LOTR flavor it would be a bust IMO.

Feels like WOTC has been unable to make White or Green a top color in a draft set in forever. Black & Red have been so dominate in most of their limited formats. Blue has been spotty but often nearly a second best color (because it usually pairs well with Black or Red). White has moments but rarely feels great due to disparate focuses of the color (aggro & control cards). Green always feels like a color that wants to be good but they always go with that require going all in to be good (like scry payoff or food payoff) and rarely just have enough good creatures/spells to make it stand up. Fight spells always feel bad as removal since they always set you up to lose to black/red instant removal. So here's an idea... maybe push the "requires synergy" design harder on black/red and up the 2 mana and 3 mana power level on green. Take away it's color fixing for a set and make it more focused on synergistic ramp (like mono-color or allied color). Would be very interest to see Green pushed in a new direction with some more color identity shift towards creatures and removal. Nature is the most deadly best and it isn't always a fight. WOTC are cowards and slaves to this poorly balanced color wheel but you could do more without relying on Timeshifting and breaking the color wheel entirely. You could give green damage/removal spells that only target creatures or planes walkers that don't require a creature on the board. It wouldn't break a constructed format - most green constructed decks have always been elves style combo kills. They don't want removal spells anyway but it would improve the color for limited. Card drawing has always made less sense in green than damage spells but it always exists. A green Flametongue Kavu card makes total sense. It would be a strong card but pretty compelling reason to play green in limited. The enticement now is always "well, it has fixing and uhhh grave yard recursion?" What does green better than any other color... find land and color fix. Not really the most relevant pie in limited for most (not all) formats.

Not sure you’re right about white. It’s been consistently strong as an aggro colour, with Boros and Azorius dominating several formats. But green has struggled in both limited and constructed for a while. It was strong in NEO and SNC, and it’s rarely been the worst colour, but Golgari and particularly Simic have been consistently crap.

It’s not gonna change unless they break the color pie which would piss a lot of ppl off. Red and black almost always have the best cheap removal, as they are the removal colors, and in 1v1 blues card advantage is very rarely not strong. Green has always been about ramping, but ramping into a big stompy that just gets effortlessly answered sucks. Maybe make Better top payoffs for it? Like something with protection or an immediate impact. White at least is a good support color, but it obviously struggles with the fact that it’s hard to create functional token decks in a limited format, which is typically it’s whole thing
