Here's my new song "Trauma." It means a ton to me. Writing is the best way for me to find clarity. Writing this one gave me a ton. A lot of the "Traumatic" things I went through changed the way I thought and saw the world. Which changed the way I unconsciously reacted to everything. In the deepest part of my heart, love and connection are the only things that I actually long for. But because of the things that have happened, I'll often truly believe I'm unworthy. Love you all. No way... I'm crying... My life has always been ruled by trauma. Resulting in all my mental disorders, like DID, severe depression, an eating disorder.. and more. This song hits so close to home. I'm in a mental hospital, fighting against my trauma. I finally am ready to face the past and heal. This song... it is like a blessing. Like it truly understands what I feel. But... hope will always stay in my heart. I will never give up. My whole childhood has been a mess but the future will be brighter than everything else. My past will no longer control me. I will live and heal.

This was honestly great timing, just an hour and a half ago I opened up to my pack about the suicide of one of my friends last year and how I still felt responsible for her death. The healing of trauma can’t be done alone, I tried that for too long before finally opening up to people I trusted strongly about it and started down the path of actually healing instead of shoving it aside and soldiering on

Before my grandma passed away, she told me "just because you are broken doesn't mean your broken all the way. There is always somebody there to pick you back up on your feet , I love you kiddo" Those were the last word i herd from her, and i still miss her to this day, grams if your reading this, i just want you to know i love you, and i won't let you down! ......................................... Trama does hurt, but you have to learn how to move on, fight, and walk with your head UP High. Life is not gonna be hard, but it sure ain't gonna be easy, is what you make it. Thx, Nathan!! Another special and true song... I’m currently trying to heal from anxiety and traumas that happened to me, knowing fine well I’m trying to recover. Just a few hours ago someone who was once my friend badmouthed me yet again, calling me an attention seeker because I mentioned my autism and saying that I don’t wanna be here because of my depression. At this point, I’m tired of trauma. I got a boyfriend who is helping me break this bind to my trauma, he treats me well; for a few days he has been distant, and I’m worried sick about him. But I’m gonna stay strong for him, and the ones I love and care about. We get traumatized by people and actions, and we heal with through people. I’ve been close to ending my life 4 times already, I’m still here for a reason.. for something. Idk what, but I’m here for something. Thank you for helping me through the darkest days with your songs and music, it means the world to me Nathan 🥺❤️

I've struggled with not feeling worthy of any love as well, but something that really helps me is something Jesus said in Mark 10:18. He said, "No one is good but God alone." The title of *good* is unattainable by any of us. We all have already failed to be good. We're all on the same level as each other. Feeling unworthy for me stemmed from my pride. Legality is on pride's speedial and pride was on my speedial. But taking everyone's achievements and putting them next to God's has shown me how silly chasing pride is. Even if you could outshine every star in the galaxy, you can never outshine God. Worldly achievements won't last, but God is forever. If anyone reading has the same problem that I've had, try spending some time doing things for God's glory and not yours and you should find some peace. I hope this helps all of you reading in some way and that you all have a lovely week!

This song is hauntingly beautiful and tragically true. Trauma shapes us and builds walls around our vulnerable parts as a means to protect us, but ultimately shutting ourselves away from others just hurts us further. Love is always the answer, even when opening ourselves up to that love is terrifying.

As someone who considers their childhood to have ended by the age of 6, this hits home. Just remembering how I used to be so happy, careless, a child, it hurts so much to know that was all thrown away within a half a year, how a super social and kind kid turned into a silent ghost in the background, barely existing, incapable of speaking. You're not alone with this, as much as that also brings the pain of wishing no one else had to go through anything like this, we are many. The shit you've been through has been bad, as much as I like to down play mine constantly, I know it's bad for me too. We can get through this. If you need someone to listen, someone to just be and understand, I can give it a shot. Love ya.

This song, for me at least, is probably the best one you've made thus far. The instrumentals are no short of breath taking, I wouldn't even be mad if the entire thing was just the instrumental music! This song makes me appreciate what I have and what I've found even more, thank you for writing such beautiful music! Thank you for making me appreciate my relationship so much more! The lyrics "All I ever wanted was to be loved by somebody" also resonates with me, because before finding love I didn't find meaning to my life, it helped me like myself and gave me confidence in myself. It helped me choose a career path for my future and Gave me an actual future to look forward to. It's the reason I love my significant other so much, because of how much positivity she has given to my life. Again, this song made me appreciate all I have so much more... I hope you understand how much your music changes the lives of people and helps them understand themselves and their lives. You deserve to be Happy, to be heard and to always shine for others with your music. It makes a huge change for many people's lives, I even have a friend who always listens to your song "Innocence" when she's sad, because the song apparently helps her a lot. I would say Good luck in your career, but the world just won't and can't stay ignorant forever. Thank you so much for this song. I relate to it cause my best friend sadly took her life 4 years ago, and I'm still not over it. A lot of people around me just don't understand why this trauma still hits me so hard. If you ask me these people should just listen to this song to finnally realise how bad and sad people feel who went through a trauma. I've lived through 3 traumas and every singe one nearly took my life. So this song means the world to me.

I feel this song’s emotions and they have helped me realize why I’m upset with myself. Thank You, Nathan. Keep up the great work. Hi, Story time...... In High school, I have friends who are all freighted by their anxiety and self defense (bullies, or rude/inconsiderate teachers) as they are always put themselves down and don’t feel confident in any subject or around people. Some joke about edicius (read it backward) and some were serious. It was hard talking them out of it. Sometimes I would fail to talk them out of it and they would end up hurting themselves. I know now it wasn’t all my fault but at the time I was focus that it was. A couple weeks after another failure I began to doubt myself, as well. I almost ended up doing the same thing. For me, i used my activities as a way to not think about it. During these activities I would listen to music, while idling or indulging into things or to help a student with a job. I found Nathan’s songs and they lifted my heart enough to to keep me going. I first found Innocence it was great. From there I would listen to more and more. They gave me the strength to help my friends once more. Which end perfectly, as some got their confidence back and some are doing just fine. Lastly, a small few need talking too or a regular person to person breakdown moments. These moments helped and each of them understand they will and can do things and or speak up for themselves. I've been practicing singing for 2 hours a day for 3 weeks now, won't be a year or two until I'm really confident in my voice but I'm really excited about pursuing my own musical career. I know what you mean, Trauma changes every part of you but with the right help and support it does get easier I'm living proof of that, I attempted suicide because the pain and fear was to much but I got help and it's gotten easier. Trauma will never disappear but getting help can help you find ways that work for you to cope, music is also a good way to do that, what I went through was made a whole lot easier when it helped me save my cousins lives, I seen what the rest couldn't and because of that I was able to take action and help them take the 1st steps to recovery by telling their dad about their abuse by their evil mother, being able to help them because the way I see things was changed by the trauma and pain made the pain less painful after the shock had ended and I knew they would be ok. I seen them again after and I could tell they were happier I had stopped it early enough before it did any serious damage to them. I'm stronger because of what I've gone through the things that happen to us in life happen for a reason even if you can't see it now, I can give you a reason why what you've been through matters right now. Because of it you are able to create incredible music that helps so many people during hard times, and I can tell you this now, you will grow stronger from this so keep on fightin and keep on written because what you're doing is and does making a difference in this world.
