Quality is the assurance that the products and services we use conforms to global standards. Each of these products and services we use in our everyday lives is tested by laboratories.
And how do we know that these labs are competent, impartial and capable of producing accurate and reliable results? The answer is accreditation!
Accreditation in India is granted by one of the world’s leading accreditation bodies NABL. The National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories is a constituent board of the Quality Council of India - a name synonymous with ensuring quality.

But no procedure for continuity of qms in between 2 years. I think some samples/certificates may called for intermediate audit.also. because most of the qms is maintained by the nabl consultants not by laboratories. Kind request after many experience.

In an organization, weighing scales get calibrated by weights and measurements department, do they again need nabl accredited calibration certificates.

If NABL is a mark for assurance for common people then why there is no surprise audits. So that the people can really know that its 24x7 quality assurance with 99.9% reliable reports.
