This "Blue sky with a white sun" Flag is also one of the first Chinese flags, especially during WWII when all Chinese people are fighting to the Japanese. Literally, no one I knew from Mainland hates this flag, which is a symbol of our history from happiness to sadness. Long life to Taiwan 🇹🇼 ( practically the former ROC ) because the majority of the current population of the island doesn't feel themselves as Chinese. They have developed through the years an own identify as society. They wanna be totally free, Taiwan is not longer part of the Chinese territory. They wanted to recover the mainland territory in the past, but later they realized that was impossible, so they decided to proclaim a new country different from communist China.

I am an a person whose been watching a bunch of anthems lately, this moved me like no other. The "Star spangled banner" is precious to me and dear to my heart, but was an anthem that was just so full of hope and determination for the future. I haven't tied to comment on any of the anthems so far, but this moved me to tears.

Thanks everybody for liking err...OUR anthem I guess 👍 but I have to say there are disputes about it time after time😂 because it's originally a song describing like "only us the KMT party shall be the saviour of China so go go go", and KMT did some wretched things on the island so, meh, some lyrics probably should change, to make it more about the country rather then the part I think Plus, young generations don't really favour this song very much maybe, complaing about something like it's too slow and like a funeral song 😂 and as I've seen so far, young Taiwanese prefers "the flag song" better (the one we play at the Olympics) because they think that one is more exciting and probably has more "hype"😂
